Hi mate, i have nissan juke 2021 , it’s showing collision warning with gearbox fault( exact warning is gearbox fault stop safely call dealer). But when i turned off emergency brake setting , the gearbox fault doesn’t come on dash. So i think the warning of gearbox fault is just a bad signal happening due to faulty collision warning . What you say ? Thanks
I wouldn't what to tell you without diagnosis it myself,I haven't came across this warning yet,but I despise Nissan's CVT transmissions, that I do know. And you know what Nissan says that's just icing on the cake"In today's marketplace CVTs can be expected to provide reliable operation up to about 100,000 miles then you have to get them rebuilt or replaced and they are even used very expensive.
@@timzauto Thanks for replying mate . Today my car (Nissan Juke 2021) didn’t get started and the warning was “gearbox fault, stop safely and call dealer” . It has only 80k miles and last month they had to replace the whole new engine. It’s frustrating when you buy brand new car and this thing happened within couple of years. What do you think about gearbox fault ?
Will this fix a p0300 code We already replaced 02 sensors, injectors, high pressure pump, maf, map, plugs, coils vvt, exhaust solenoid, compression is 210,190,210,210 left to right
@@Texan1 that pcv system I show how to may fix your problem. A malfunctioning PCV valve can disrupt the air to fuel mixture causing a misfire code, only a few other things will also, including a leaking head gasket,it will show random misfire because the coolant is getting on the plugs, happens every time.but you have good compression readings besides the second one down 20
You should always empty the oil out of the old one then empty the new one and put in the amount that's was in the old one...When they already have oil in them it's usually to much and it'll chock the system with to much.
No you don't have too,I have a chart with all the vehicles freon and oil capacity, don't ever just match what's left in the system, could have leaked, evaporated, etc.always look it up and use the correct amount and type, hope you've learn something and thanks for watching.
I WISH YOUR VIDEO CAME UP FOR ME ON RU-vid. THE ONLY WAY I found this was searching Google first. Thanks for the direct, easy to follow non rambling, video!
I was completely skeptical. I got this car from my mother in law because she was taking to a mechanic because the p0420 code kept coming back. The cat was only a year old had new o2 sensors. I ran two different cat cleaners through the tank. Still came back. I came across your video as I was about to do the spark plug non fouler trick. I swapped out the really corroded spark plugs for new iridium and error gone.
Thanks for the video, about to embark on this on my '07 Tundra, and was just quoted 7 hours labor at the local shop, and they were reading off the book where as they remove the entire dash and steering column. $900 in labor alone, so I thin I will break out the tools and a sweat rag now that I see it can be done without removing everything but the carpet!
I had a question I have 12 Altima with the 3.5 and when I search up for crank position sensor it shows there’s 3 different locations? Did you just change this one or is there more. Thanks
I have a Nissan Rogue 2019 and I'm having the same problem and honestly don't want to spend the hundreds at a shop or dealer. Where can I also buy a replacement sensor?
I am experiencing this problem with my 2018 rebuilt Nissan maxima. However when I look behind the front bumper and logo or my car I am not seeing this sensor anywhere in the car. Help!
That axle nut was supposed to be torqued to 229 ft lbs using a torque wrench, not 1,000 using a impact That's how you get wheel bearings to fail prematurely.
No it isn't, wouldn't matter what you torque it too, it isn't going to "all of of sudden" wear out because it's too tight, give me a break wheel bearings wear out because of Movement,Miles, and quality of the product.Stop believing your little buddy's at the oil change shop..
Couple questions 1. Did you have the coolant vacuumed out prior to removal? 2. Did you take it to an AC place to recharge after? 3. What kinda oil goes in those things?
what were the symptoms? I had a huge intake backfire from starting fluid, and I suspect an intake problem, car will not even start tries to but just stumbles and backfires
Bumper does not need to be removed a 12" electrical screwdriver is used to turn the clips for the grill. For reinstalling remove clips from body re install on grille, snap grill back into body. I was wondering why the book only pays 1.4hrs.
Thank you for the video sir. Helped me fix my girlfriends car with a 5 min drive to the parts store, a 50 dollar prime rib, a 65 dollar part, and 3 minutes of work in the drive way.
I swear on everything that I was sitting at my kitchen table drinking coffee and thinking about rerouting my a/c fuse location because I've burned through so many fuses. I was thinking, maybe I can just move the location or create some type of bypass. ALL THOUGHTS and nothing said out loud. Next thing I know, I find your video. smh, blessed and scared all at the same time lol.
I replaced the sensor but the aeb light came back right away. Do you think it will need to be recalibrated by Nissan? There is no dtc code for this malfunction. Did you have to recalibrate your replacement? Thanks in advance
