I preferred the floetrol and water because the colors stayed slightly more vibrant. I’ve made fluid art before and I don’t care as much for cells everywhere. I thought both of these were beautiful.
Thank you for sharing your techniques, it's wonderful to just watch you make them and they look beautiful. I have bought ready made pouring paints and they are way too thick to flow like the ones in your videos. I like metallic acrylic paints, do you have any suggestions on which ones I can buy? Or perhaps can you share a thinning technique? Also, how do you ensure that the paints don't get full of bubbles?
Nice comparison, but shouldt the water/paint ratio be different (to replicate the thicker, more opaque consistency of flotrol/water/paint mixes? I wonder if a 60:40 or even 70:3 ratio od paint/water would provide more vivid colors like the floral example?
Hi just subscribed and started using this technique can you please tell me what the small gun you are using is please Is it a hot air gun i recognise the use of the hair dryer was this on a cold setting too please
What a gratifying way to be creative. Do all these different techniques use the same kind of mixture of the paint and the medium? Or does it depend on the technique itself how liquid or fluent the paint should be?
If I may suggest, try putting your canvas on a sound table and use frequency vibrations from a tone generator to create sound art in acrylic! Please comment what results you get!
I can see the differences, and I think they both have their own charms. I guess it’s whatever your looking for. Thank you for sharing. I’ll keep the notes in mind. ❤ 😄
