I know this video is old but ive been a fan for a while… I’m about to do the sub and diff raise starting tomorrow and the only question i have is, did you have to remove/disconnect brake lines? Thats the only thing thats got me worried cause i dont want to mess with that Thank you in advance if you do reply back brother 💯
@@joseluna7054 I took the calipers off of the hubs and hug them to the coilovers with zip ties. You can either pull the e brake lines through from the e brake side or take the rotors off and disconnect the e brake line from the brake shoes. I’d personally disconnect the brake shoe line behind the rotors and send it

Hey your car being boosted and did you do max height? Mines set at max height and my diff is touching my trunk. I just boosted it but my car is throwing false knocks...im losing timing..-_- is it possible that my diff making contact with my trunk causing my knock sensors to throw a false? Did you hammer your trunk in a little? I did the riser job myself also and it was a pain doing it alone lol 😅

Does it mean that you can only adjust the power steering degree of assistance during the car's accessory mode? Will u be able to do that also during when the car is totally shut off or when the engine is fully running?

Damn bro I’ve been following your frs build since you had the sbd kit. Mind if I ask what caused this? Low oil pressure? Valve springs gave out? I was planning to build my fa20 frs too and swapping it if it blows up
You’re an OG! I appreciate it homie. And it seems that my rev limit caused this. I had my tuner essentially turn off my hard cut, so it bounced off the rev limiter and kept power. The typical rev limit is a hard cut that literally cuts power to save the engine.. and I didn’t want that lol. Lasted a good while but it was inevitable
If ur gonna swap it I 100% suggest an LS I fell in love with the platform on my e36. Gonna prob get a c5 or c6 in the near future after I start my vip build.
