Hello! Thanks for checking us out. Welcome to the altem life. On this channel, we show you all things to do in Florida! We do all sorts of things like going to Walt Disney World, Universal Studios & Islands of Adventure in Orlando, doing restaurant reviews from all over Florida, going to The Villages, doing Florida town tours, and seeing roadside attractions. We are centrally located so there is always something to do. We enjoy going to Florida beaches, like Anna Maria Island and Clearwater! We also enjoy going to the FL state parks. Our goal is to help others in their travels, provide as much information as possible, and show you our experiences. Ever since we have been together our biggest shared joy is Jesus, followed by traveling and living this life that was given to us to the fullest. Hopefully, this inspires others to share in those joys with us. We try and upload a video every day. If you like this channel, please subscribe, like, comment and share. Let's go check out Florida!
Good food but pretty pricey. $17.50 for a hamburger and $4 for a Coke? Ouch. Go across the street to the Coney Island Hot Dog restaurant and you can get 2 dogs, fries and a milk shake for $17.50 or less.
that sampler plate could definitely feed 2 or even 3. I would suggest trying the apple crisp for dessert. I love it and its one my favorite desserts at Disney
i really want habeneros in joplin mo, but im waiting till july 11th, to make my "damn" tamales, lol, 4 yrs ago, thats one of the last things my mexican firecracker mom said, make your own damn tamales, so i do, just about 12, it can be done lol
A little pricey, but on vacation, and for seafood, not too bad. I like that all of you get different dishes and we get to see more of what the food looks like, and tastes like. Also appreciate you showing us the menus and history of the restaurant. We always pause on the menus and read every little thing. Enjoy your summer.
Thank you for saying this! We appreciate the very nice comment as we try to be as helpful as possible. It’s nice to have variety so hopefully it helps the next person figure out if it’s a place they should go! Thank you!
It would be nice if the vegetation and the parking area between the restaurant and the water were cleared so everyone could actually have a water view. Looks like a great place, guys!
In this video I remember years ago when I was working at a restaurant near 9th ave midtown Manhattan called WALKERS and it had 4 dining rooms and I was the SOUS CHEF/CHEF De CUISINE and what I did was hit every category on the specials menu plus the current menu, and the people absolutely loved it because you have your regulars plus walk-ins and the place was jammed, very busy with 20 waiter's and waitresses plus 2 bartenders and only 2 in the kitchen plus the dishwasher but this place looks massive, but when I worked in the hotels we had one main dining room plus 4 private dining rooms and the main kitchen was huge and I remember when I looked at the WALDORF ASTORIA,and TAVERN ON THE GREEN, huge kitchen and massive dining room and at the time TAVERN ON THE GREEN was the highest grossing establishment in the United States hugh numbers
How nice for you. I couldn't afford to stay there. It must be great. I live on 900.00 a month. A trip across the street is expensive for me. Have a wonderful time.
Thank you for the hotel review. I have stayed at the Margarita hotel in Orlando. They gave us a room upgrade and we really thought we were put into the wrong room. It was extravagant. A big suite with living room, dining room, bedroom, huge bathroom. We went back to the front desk to ask if they got our name right. LOL They said we were given a gift - - a upgrade. No extra charge. They treated us very good there. This hotel looks nice. I still couldn't share a room with our parents, or with my own children and their spouses. We all need privacy. But that is nice you all get along so well and can share the hotel bill. The breakfast looked so busy! Glad you were able to eat. Keep those videos coming. I'm planning my vacation around your reviews! Hey, and lunch today was Ms. Kathi's Cotillion restaurant from one of your reviews in Wildwood, FL. We love your videos. I'd have never known about this restaurant if it wasn't for you guys.
I see where more restaurants are charging you for sharing a meal. They charge for silverware and plate use. I know this is just for one person that you shared, but wow that was not a lot of food for the money. However, sitting right on the water watching the fish jump, that is beautiful. Love your videos.
I was wondering when you were getting to St A. When you opened, I was surprised because I used to work in the Birkenstock store over your right shoulder. O'Malley's was off to your right and around the corner you could try Mojo's BBQ on Cordova. I would also suggest, if I may, Pizza Time for Pizza, but across the street (St George St.) Pizzalley for Italian food. Glad you liked Meehan's.
Thanks for the suggestions! We will have to go back and try some of these. We almost went to that Birkenstock store to check it out. We love that area!
@@thealtemlife from that location, you would have to go to the other side to go in the door for the Birks, there's a couple nice shops in that little courtyard. Nice coffee shop, and in the afternoon, the hotel has live music.
Local here. You don't actually need a reservation for Murphy's. Sounds strange to me!! Maybe if you REALLY want to go there on a Friday or Saturday night.
I love you reading from the menu more than usual. Sometimes when I'm watching your videos I'm also doing something and I like you shouting out some of the items on the menu like this. Great!
Thanks for sharing this video!!!!! Growing up I had a female German Shepherd, Kasey, who looked so much like your Nana! We also later took in a large St Bernard, Brandy, much later. Kasey and Brandy were best buddies. As an adult I have had cats, at one point 5 adopted cats and a Dutch Bunny!!!! Now, just my Husband and I have a wonderful cat, MoMo, adopted from our Vet after our beloved Mikey, died after a long illness at almost 22 years old. Mikey was really attached to us….. and now MoMo is. We love watching your videos!
Thank you for sharing this about all your wonderful pets! Pets are sure part of the family. MoMo sounds so much fun! We really appreciate you watching our videos!
Hello! Well we don’t have kids yet and we try and save our money so that we can show these videos. Definitely not rich at all because we also work full time jobs 5 days a week and if we were rich, we wouldn’t be doing that lol
