Heyho Thor, i have two cents to say about the sensitivity part. 1. Muscle Memory is a myth, a lie, a meme even. You can change the sensitivity of the 1x from 42 to 35 or to 50 and you would play just as good (it will take like a min to get used to). Aiming is all about hand eye coordination, it has nothing to do with you hand learning how much cm it has to go. Your sensitivity slightly changes every day anyway. Mousepads get dirty, also the humidity plays a huge part, mouse skates get worn, your grip strengh is different, etc.. Furthermore some studies suggest that you get better aim by changing your sensitivity constantly. This is common practice by very good aim trainer players. Try to change your sens in an arcade game, your aim will be the same. 2. You correctly changed your sens so that your 2,5x matches your old 1,5x but that doesnt mean they have the same sensitivity. when aiming with an acog your FOV gets way smaller then with a 1,5. If you do a 360 with a 2,5 your sensitivity will have to be way higher to compensate for the closer FOV. You could calculate the correct sensitivity but thats honestly pretty annoying with R6 because it uses hdeg 4:3 FOV and im not sure how to convert that correctly to hFOV and if its the same if you use 4:3 as you aspect ratio. In other words im not sure if 90 FOV in 4:3 = 1/4 of a 360. If that would be the case than your 1,5x sens would have top be divided by 360 and multiplied by 53,1. 8,763 cm mouse movement is a whole screen length. Or in other words if an enemies is on the right edge of your screen you need to move your mouse by 4,382 cm. And this is the distance you also want to have for your 2,5x. Corrently your 2,5x needs 3,124 cm to flick to the right of the screen. To my calculation the closest you can go is to set your 2,5x to 73. that would be 8,73 cm for the whole screen, or 4,354 fro mthe middle to the right. Again, im not sure if those calculations are correct, you can try by measuring with a ruler i guess. To get back to point one, just forget everything i said in point 2 and just use a sens that feels good for you. Its not important
That's just factually inaccurate. If what you're saying was true (it's most certainly not,) you'd be able to multiply your sensitivity by 10x and have absolutely no trouble adjusting. Again, utter nonsense.
Just started playing R6, I normally play controller but I'm on pc. Should I swap to M&K? If so how do I find my sens to start with I'm really struggling. I'm good at game just terrible aim
i say use what u feel is better i used to use control but after using kbm i just feel better even tho i’m worse i just feel better if that makes any since
add some sound effect in ur intro i like it :), and for ur clips do more cuts and add some sound effect, all that its to make ur video shorter and funnier (does't mean its not :) ). you can do it i belive in you
I have this illness where if I have 1 bad game I want to change my settings (which obviously doesnt make a difference, if anything it makes it worse mid game lmao)
I've gotta ask, why are all your videos called "X operator is...", or "X needs a buff", etc... But you barely use those ops in the video, or if you ever use them never use their gadjets ?
just for a title and thumbnail. had loads of clips left from when i was lazy for months, so decided doing ops at a time was best to get rid of most of em quick
The easiest, most convenient and one most people us is just the shoulder peek. Strafe from left to right, if you wanna do the more fancy one it's a Shaiko peek, but it's not necessary tbh. Id recommend looking up tutorials on YT, I know Braction and I believe Poxonlox have uploaded vids about it before that I watched
I should be live around 10pm GMT tonight, not 100% sure if I will be because Im just now setting up a streaming pc, hopefully it all works fine and I can stream properly, but I always post on my twitter when I go live. twitter.com/thor_sd
Update. I’m having to get another mic as the streaming PC wasn’t picking up my mic audio or any discord audio. I should be back to streaming 5 days a week from Mon/Tuesday
Thanks man, I really appreciate it, I'd love to upload daily but with work and studying it's too hard for me right now. Even getting 2 vids a week out at the moment is difficult for me. Perhaps if I stuck to this a bit earlier I'd have more subs and viewers, but better late than never I guess lol
