Well, hey there and how are you?! I am an adult doll collector and noob crafter. You might ask, why the old timey music? Well, I like it! It makes me smile. You will find doll reviews, unboxings of things that can be used for dolls, haul reveals, some DIY tutorials, and even the occasional shout out video. Wait, shout out videos, what are those? It's where I take time to directly appreciate my subscribers and those who have left comments. I also suggest other small sites, like my own, that I hope people will discover and enjoy. There is a story going on as well, which I do need to get back to, however, I am building a doll town for the story. Why? Because I always wanted to do it! It's fun! There are also some giveaways as I beg my viewers to please give a good home to items that would otherwise sit ignored. I prefer Miniverse plants by comparison but these are okay. I like your custom plant arrangements too. I think Mini Brands may have missed the mark a little as far as the activity goes. With Miniverse it's about scooping the "soil", adding "water" to the vases, the boxes and newspapers and things that make the process a little more charming, it's about the experience and not just the surprise.
Beautiful collection of plants and flowers for the flower shop ❤ So sorry you got multiples of that one cactus 🫤 but at least it’s still nice to look at 😁 Even still, you have a great group to add some variety to your dioramas while doing what brings you joy ✨💖✨
I personally like Miniverse for plants & create food better. Their realism & details are fantastic. I like Mini Brands for many other things,but not so much for the Create line.
I feel like with the flowers separated a lot of ppl that don't follow the instructions will like how it's extra pieces to customize... The little bonus animals and tools are really neat too and if you don't like resin or sand mess these don't seem to need it as much as mini verse does
Oh my!!!! Just was told they're trying to ban mini brands resin .. because small children are rubbing it in their eyes ...uhhhhggggg.... Just put a new age limit on it ... Or IDK supervise your kids during craft time.

I agree. Supervise the kids! You know that a few of us creators have been discouraging kids handling the Mini Verse resin unless they have supervision.
"encourages alternative language" XD I love the terminology ! and yes the fashions MB defiantly does! not that ive found the "series 3" yet (in UK) I got the Stralitzia the other day to :) (birds of paradise BTW, I used to be a florist so can't help calling them that now :) ) I like some of the MB plants flowers especially the little watering can :) but I think they are kinda lego-y and the MV looks a bit more real :) love the GRRRR s when you find a double XD also like the mix ups at the end that you made :)
How much fun! A florist! When I was in kindergarten, our teacher had a massive amount of playsets we could put together. I always went for the flower shop one. Well, once I got together a bunch of plant and flower items I made a flower shop.

I usually enjoy your videos but not quite so much this time due to the feller in the background on the phone using all the profanity. As for your part on the vid you were great as all ways and I love what you did with the extra watering pots as well as all the other extras. I like that you know the names of the flowers and plants and your opinions between the two companies.

Its nice to see you back! I haven't found MiniBrands in my area yet. Sometimes it helps to be able to actually see and handle them. My biggest issue with the Brands is that they are plasticy and would be improved with some touch up painting. With those cacti, they come in a range of colors from bright yellow through oranges to bright reds. An easy customization. I like the idea of plant pets but they don't seem like indoor visitors, maybe if they were outdoors. Would be cuter if they were ornamental plant pokes. I like the bonsai, but thats going to take some work. If you're looking for some busy work, you've got some. I really want the hanging pothos as a memorial plant for my brother. He had a big one that was on a pedestal table. It grew round and round the table. Periodically it had to be unwound, groomed and rewound. He was a perfectionist with no patience so l usually wound up doing it. A horrendous chore l'd glad do again. My sister now has the plant. They haven't come up with plants for my mother yet
Great to see you back, Carla. 😄 I love those Make It Miniverse Lifestyle capsules. The flowers are all so pretty. I did get that bird feeder you got with the green roof, that I wasn't at all pleased with. The directions were confusing, as they didn't look like the pieces I had. I must have built it wrong, because I can't hang it from anything. The flowers however, I did get two of those pink flowers. They are so so pretty. (My Barbie is a happy bride to be with that, with her Ken gifting her lots.) The orchid is my favourite though. I'm not keen on those Mini Brands Create though. They are just too plasticky, and Make Miniverse just did them way better.
Carla, if you want to make the bonsai look a little more realistic I recommend some moss and glue/mod poge on the "leaves" and "grass" might make it look less plastic. OR You could always paint it with acrylic paints to make it more realistic. ❤
Carla sorry for your loss xx I lost my father in law nearly six yrs ago he was the best father in law a girl could ask for xx we were very close and my children were very close to him too he's never out of our thoughts we are always talking about him ❤️ his stories were great ❤ we miss him dearly ❤️
I’m glad you are keeping him alive for your kids. I lost my grandpa when I was seven, but my grandma did what you are doing. Because of her, he remained vibrant for me, and I grew up knowing how much he loved me. Your children are fortunate to have a mother who is keeping him in their hearts. I am sorry you had to lose such a father in law. It sounds like he was a second father for you. Hugs from Maine
So sorry for your loss. I lost my dad 2 years ago. I hadn't seen him in a few years since my parents divorced and I had been working abroad. I remember texting him July 4th and he didn't reply which was odd. Later I found out he had died on the 8th. He had health issues I wasn't aware of, so it seemed to happen out of nowhere. I built a cardboard Barbie house because I saw 2 big boxes at my mom's house and was trying to keep my mind off the sad stuff, and crafting was my happy place. I moved back to the USA at the end of my work contract so I could be closer to my mom and sister. Losing a parent is tough, but it's one of those things we have to get through. My condolences.

Oh my! Yes we did! And the big hair! I was taken for a motorcycle ride, and I had so much hairspray that my hair didn’t move! It didn’t get messed up at all! Now, I couldn’t endure that much spray! But hey! Big hair!

Hello Carla❤ I wanted to listen to your video sooner but my grand-dauther was with me all week till today. No time for RU-vid.😊 I feel your pain my friend😓. Losing a parent is always hard , no matter the age. I lost my father in december 2009 ( 4 days before christmas) from lung cancer. He was only 63. I was 36 at that time... I still miss him each day. We learn at Halloween that he had stage 4 lung cancer and the doctors said he won’t make it 'till Christmas... he didn’t... Me and my 2 sisters we're with him when he took his last breath. One of the saddess day of my life... this and also when I had my stillborn in 1999. I was 7 months pregnant. Life's hard and crual sometimes. My only comfort is that I know in my heart I will see them again, when my time comes... I’m sooooo sorry for your loss...😔 I’m praying for you, your family and your father🙏...I hope he will accept to go on without her... Sometimes, couples like that follow one another very close to Heaven. I’m lucky, I still have my mom, she's 77. ❤ I love you and I’m hugging you in my heart🫂 Take care of you my dear friend🥰
My heart goes out to you! And losing a baby, that is every mother’s fear. I can’t even know what that was like. I’m so very sorry you went through that. I’m glad your dad had you with him at the end. I hope I have at least one of my kids by my side when the time comes. My grandmother lost her father at Christmas. She was never quite able to truly be happy during the holidays. I wish I could send you a hug 🤗
