Thanks so much. Teff flour is a wheat which grows especially in Ethiopia at a high altitude. In English it is called Love Grass. Without Gluten and known as a Superfood. More and more people in Germany are eating it as a healthy nutrition. Not possible to replace it to cook Injera. People try but it is not the same. I am sure you can get it online in Canada as well.
I wonder if I can make this in Instant pot? With the same amount of ingredients except the amount of water. Less water might do it to thicken it, but at the end it might be like chickpeas Genfo lol
I watch a lot of RU-vid and often find it necessary to skip through videos. I could not believe I just watch this one and it was over 8 minutes. It felt like 3! You have a great talent for keeping the viewer fixated at what is going on. One small point I would add to the comment about eating these crunchy nibbles with coffee - They are also brilliant with beer!
The first electric food mixers were sold to the public back in the 1920s about 12 years after it was invented. Some guy was watching a baker mixing bread with a metal spoon and thought it look bloody hard work. I'm sure this recipe is much older, so I would think hands only would be no problem. Maybe a big spoon to start it...
Another example of this fantastic Ethiopian Cuisine in fasting times. For vegetarians a must and a great addition to their meatless dish portfolio. Thanks so much to share it!!!
