Welcome to my channel! This channel is going to be about magic, and card magic in particular. I am a strong believer that it's important to have a strong foundation which you can build upon. Once you have that, you will be able to come up with your own tricks, and it will be easier to improvise when you're in a tricky situation.
Therefore, the channel will be focused on building a strong foundation, but I will also share some advanced sleights and tricks.

What a great trick. Also lovely to see it used in real life by a master. It jut shows you that yes self working tricks are good, but mastering fairly simple sleights of hand can take tricks to another level. Practice sleights and false cuts and shuffles until they become second nature and then a whole new world of mind blowing tricks opens up to you. Is it really a “self working” trick though? Was the original just a set up with a bunch of weird looking mathy procedures up to the reveal? This version at least is definitely more of a small packet setup with standard slights and moves. Even the setup can probably be done with slights during an appropriate trick prior.
I don't think he meant that this is a self working trick. The point was rather that self working tricks are good, but by knowing some sleights you can take it to the next level and learn tricks such as this one 🙂👍

Haha, yeah it will pretty soon! When I reach 5,5k. I haven't been able to upload as much as I had planned so it's going a bit slower than I had anticipated but I'm sure we'll get there pretty soon now 🙂👍
Hey thanks for this nice tutorial, I learned this card effect from Dai's Stars of Magic book so many years ago when I was younger. We didn't have such great video tutorials or the web to show us. lol. Just illustrations drawn in the book from people like Ed Marshall and many others. Watching your video has sparked my interest to go thru that book again and practice those moves. Thanks.

Agree to disagree 👍 Unless you do the same trick for the same spectators multiple times (which is a bad idea), then most lay people have never seen that climax. So it won't be a cliche for them. I'd argue that "card to impossible location" is as much as a cliche but it still will definitely impress your spectators.
