Japanese beetles have decimated so many of my pole beam leaves! I can’t do this though because they are on the very top of the arch. Pyrethrin kills them but does absolutely nothing to deter them.
Yes they can be so destructive. That’s why I plant beans later in the season if I can. After they are finished. Bush beans are faster so I usually do those
Hello. A very tough pest to deal with. Give the plant a good, thorough spray with a strong jet of water. An organic spray with pyrethrin can be effective but you will need to cover the plant with a mesh or something until the treatment is finished. Pyrethrin is a natural chemical, but toxic to bees.
These berries need well draining soil. They can handle pretty cold temperatures in the winter. Down to about -23 Celsius. Blueberries need very acidic soil.
I live in California, and i tried to grow carrots this year. I planted them in February of this year and now its still still so little.... idk what i did wrong could it the soil??? I plant them in a bucket. Can you do a video providing tips for growing carrots?
