This is THE VERY BEST instruction on assembly of this bike rack there is anywhere! Only two things of note: they don’t provide written instructions in the box anymore. They have a card with a QR code, and that takes you to the instructions, and another QR code for a video on assembly, which is LAME and unhelpful! The only other thing is that he opens the box and he has everything all ready to start assembly. This sucker is packed with tons of stuff on it that he obviously removed prior to the video. I wish he had shown removal of all that packing too. Seems like it should be obvious, but not for everyone! His instructions on actual assembly were FLAWLESS! Awesome, awesome. I’m a 62 year old woman and did it myself with only him teaching me! I never looked at the instructions online!
I have a 23 Ford Explorer limited with a panoramic sunroof. Is the motion XT or the force the better option? Also does having a panoramic roof affect the weight load at all? Am I allowed to still store up to 165 pounds on top of my car with the panoramic sunroof?
Hey guys, great video. What size and model do you feel would be best for a 2024 VW Atlas? I’m looking for the most amount of space but still looks good mounted to my car.
Is it possible to stretch the distance between the bars to be 29.76" ? I'm looking to install a TOOENJOY lift assist rack on the Thule bars. I'm not thrilled with Thule's because they are not attached to eachother
Also, the Yakima site recommends the 50” width bars for my 2023 Tacoma. But the bed width is over 60”. I’m guessing this is the width for the roof rack not the bed.
Hey, do you have any actual install videos or at least an install manual I can download online or something? I looked on your website and I can’t find any install manuals to download for a 2018 F30 Sedan. Thanks!
Does the OEM rack silicone feet just rest on the car body and no contact at all in the glass? Or doesn’t it also slight sit in the glass too? Thank you.
They Timberline feet look like they work but they look makeshift. Not a very clean look. Perhaps that's why ya didn't do the full walk around front/back view?
Thanks for sharing. I just ordered a used but nearly new one from Amazon. The key wasn’t come with the package so I guessed that the key was missing. I tried to order a repair key from the website but I didn’t know the key code of EasyFold XT. Can you share the code with me? Thanks in advance!
Those cables are very easily cut with a decent bolt cutter. Not very good security I’m my opinion. They should design the front wheel holder to have a key lock on it.
