Last week I did this fight with no problem on my mage using mirror image to fight him while I go down but today, he keeps resetting every time I try to do this fight. It's insanely frustrating.
How did you survive after you came out of the under? I managed to come out with mirror images without the fight resetting. However, I couldn't handle the damage dealt to me.
Do a Soulbind Necrolord/Kyrian pet summon right before you phase the boss and BURST kel'thuzad's soul down as hard as you can while it's still alive in the living realm.
I just cracked the code for this, i did it on a ret paladin with the yogg tentacle trinket, you have to summon tentacle, hit the mobs and then go in and also did it on hunter, all pets get teleported to you when you go in phylactery, so what you do is you go BM and take Dire beast with increased durationm (10 sec) and you summon dire beast, go in and nuke the boss inside so to sum it up, you need some kind of summon that isnt your pet or has a crontol bar and you will be able to do this.
was having the same issue until I figured out what was happening, KT can NOT have threat on you when he transitions, i had to use misdirect to make sure my pet didn't lose aggro right before hand. can't see this being possible for non-pet classes atm.
I managed to get it done, if you kill all the adds before you go to his phylactery you can transition. No pet, but after many trial and error, for me at least, if no adds, no glacial spikes are up before you transition you can do it.
unfortunatly it does not work anymore. yesterday I learned that you could solo the herald of the titan achievement thanks to the shadowgrasp totem. I lvlup a character to 24, which is the level you need to get the trinket at ilvl 106 (herald requires to not have anyone in the raid with any gear higher than ilvl 107), then it took me HOURS to get the trinket, cleaning other side on with a char on my alt account over and over. Finally got the trinket ilvl 106 on the lvl 24 char. finished lvl up to 30. Got out of chromie time, tested the trinket, and it does absolutly no damage at all. The trinlet ticks 1 time for the damage written in the tooltip. They DID not fix shadowlands timeline code, cause you still need to be lvl 50 to enter dungeons in shadowlands outside of chromie time, but they did not want the trinket to be busted anymore, so they just nerfed the trinket directly, now it's 100% useless, even in its intended way of being used. I imagine ooza was nerfed too but I did not test
@@TheDruidMan are you sure the ooze still works? I spent like 7 hours yesterday to get my char lvl 30 with the totem at exactly ilvl 106, it was really a pain. I was extrmely disapointed to see i did all that for nothing when it did not work to kill algalon. I can try to get the ooze at ilvl 106 on another char but it means restarting from scrath and another 7 hours, so I would like to have some positive hope that it will work to get the Herald of the Titan achievement. some fun clips of me and fate 2 manning a few bosses in ICC 10 N: - fate used his 2nd account with 30s for some fights so technically a "3 man" - had some fun and got a DK to give us perma 100% dmg buff with the plague scientist - Lich king 3 mannable, needed an extra person to kill the valk to free the healer, wanted to show best attempt very easy without cheeses when 3 manning, but we still had fun
im predominately a raid theorycrafter so I definitely learnt a lot about what's good to consider for dungeons, for TWW a lot of my theorycrafting will be for dungeons & raids which will definitely make the next tourney exciting
This boss is incredibly difficult requiring over 850k dps. you have only 1 minute 30 seconds from pull to kill the boss (he has 51M HP) before garrosh perma fears you and the fight becomes impossible.. only arcane mage are able to solo it as of right now due to the way touch of the magni works I used necrolord covenant with maxed conduits, double shadowflame embelishments, i had to farm a irideus fragment from M+ just for this boss as my trinkets wasn't sufficient in previous attempts..
My teammate was using double jackhammer with crusader i was using double byrmtroll (first boss ICC) with lifestealing you have to build for vers as prio and sit in defensive stance and get any leech you can afford to get (5% passive via talent)
@@TheDruidMan Well I'm not getting double jackhammer. But Byrntroll is a good tip, I saw that weapon and was... utterly whelmed so I never tried it. But I guess with investing in the whirlwind talents it works quite well. Wasn't gonna regear until TWW but this... maybe something along those lines works for me.
hey :) i have one lvl 10 mw monk 56 ilvl, and i saw many site that the infinitely divisible ooze is one great option for twinks, so now i have it but it doesn't really work, it usually does like 20 damage. I do something wrong?
This is an excellent explanation of the interaction we see with these wildly... ahem.. *Well Balanced* trinks. No matter... the fun we've had with these is just amazing. I also think we should be careful with showing thier unbelievable power. I solo'ed the Sha of Anger on a level 20 Bear with these... in 15 seconds. Don't need normie-levelers seeing that. Not at all.

After reviewing the logs/gear/video of my gameplay, it is MORE than doable to get 70 stacks with that exact same setup I showed, and with further optimisation of buffs (wbuffs etc) and gear, it might be possible to break 80+ The goal is to reach 100 (1,000% more damage) Update: new record 81 Update: 100 hit on guardian druid

you can use the oddly-shaped horn instead of gunshoes in iron docks if you wanted to, they go faster but arent enough to reach the second boss in one charge. doesnt cost anything but are soulbound so youll have to refarm them once you use it
