This channel Is about living our lives more conscious every day. The most important part of living a conscious lifestyle is being in the now or being aware that you are not. Although living a healthy lifestyle is also important my lessons are about living a life of peace and surrender.

Greetings from New Zealand ~ You're very down-to-earth and real in your presentation, it can seem like "one step up and two steps back" sometimes however letting go takes practice every day. I'm enjoying how Michael Singer explains in simple terms that it's because we're not okay we keep trying to get our wants, needs, and desires to make us feel better. Nam Myoho Renge Kyo.
Thank you for sharing…. Falling backwards is something that I have recently struggled with.. it’s comforting to know that I’m not the only one who has dealt with this…. And your solution is perfectly stated…. Again thank you.. & blessings
Inspiring video, I've been seeing the same in myself; anxiousness in me is not generated by my circumstances, but rather the thinking in my head around it. If I must "get something done" and I have the ability to do it, I can go for it. It's when I build a story around it related to things like: "it's not fair", "what happens if it doesn't work out", "it's going to take me a long time to do", and stuff like that that my body reacts in a negative way and makes it hard for me to do those things. For me, the next step is to not just know this at a cerebral level, but to make it an unconscious behavior to be aware when I'm generating a story around a task I must do, and to let that story end quietly without resistance.
Thank you so much for taking time out of your day to respond to my comment. I was just watching another video on this topic and I closed my eyes and started speaking to myself. I was saying in my mind that I need something. I need some kind of guidance. I wanted some type of help from the universe. I opened my eyes. Closed out that video I was watching and scrolled one time. Seen your video. Clicked on it and you answered me. No coincidences right? Everything you suggested I do every day. I always catch myself when my ego decides to pull one on me. I then bring myself back to the now and tell myself that I’m thankful for noticing what my ego just did. Thankful for noticing it and going back to the now. I say I’m thankful for going through what I’m going through because I know that this is part of my change. Thank you so much. Would you happen to have an email so I could reach out to you if I have any questions? Hope you’re having a wonderful day when this reaches you.
God / Source / The Perpetual One has a way of helping us through the dark nights of our souls and we always come out stronger . Our loved ones will see the transformation in us and our new examples ( behaviors, thought and speech, new levels of patience, new attempts at cordiality , and levels of compassion and understanding with children especially will be noticed . Give yourself grace and mercy and forgiveness . Your old self is not the same as your new self !! It will take awhile for others to see but the harder task is for you to forgive yourself !! If the master of the universe forgives our manifold failings - why can’t we ? Thanks for your video BTW !! Hugs and unconditional love to you ! ❤ Bro Phil aka Tai Chi Serenity Valley on RU-vid
Don't try to be a better person! You are not a person, as consciousness you are perfection itself. We make the same mistake in all of our dreams: we identify with the person and regard the rest as other(s). Each time it takes awakening to (be able to) realize we were the whole dream, all of it, consciousness. Look back on any nightmare. It doesn't frighten you anymore because once awake you left the personal perspective (which enables all mental suffering). Dreams end upon awakening but the dream called life continues and lucid living begins. As consciousness you are sheer perfection. Note that only consciousness did not and will not change during your entire life.
Thank you for making this video. This was a very good time for me to hear this message. It made total sense to me. I could see myself in everything you talked about. 💖
Last attempt (for today): suppose you could dream a dream again, with ONE difference only: this time you KNOW that you are dreaming, although you still don't know what will happen or how the dream will end. Would you still engage with ego or look around in awe and wonder?
This is the beauty of cosmic connections. Synchronicity. And Collective consciousness. Because you chose to speak your truth, I received what I needed to hear. Thankyou
Literally, in the first second of the video, reading "realizing you are the space between thoughts", something clicked. Amazing. More and more pieces of the puzzle fall in place. Seemingly random. Seemingly unconnected. How exciting. Many thanks for this video. Much love.
Being a grounded tree....let the wind sway you left and right, back n forth without a care in the world...responding appropriately but lack of concern, just riding it out and trusting, like zero resistance upon sitting on a very wavy ocean. If anything learning to smile on it eventually like a fake 3D virtual reality green screen surround sound game headset.
We seem to have around 10.000 thoughts a day. That's 10 per minute if we sleep for 8 hours. Less than 5% of those thoughts are functional. The rest is mainly negative and repetitive (ego). So I liked what you said 5:25. Do you have fewer thoughts than before? Can we kill our ego?
@@geertmeertens-sk7lv you can reduce your thinking tremendously by being present and letting go of highs and lows. The ego will come back as it always does, then you bring it back to this moment again. It's a practice.
@@meganlovell7721 Yes, I have been practicing so I know you are right about the reduction. However, Ramana Maharshi said the ego has to be destroyed. D e s t r o y e d. So no coming back of the ego. If the ego keeps coming back are we still learning, poor students? Or that's life? If you have a lucid dream would you still be interested in your 'ego'?
@@meganlovell7721 So you have destroyed yours? You don't need to practise anymore? Did it result in a significant drop in the number of thoughts? I am sorry for questioning you but is a big thing to 'me' (haha). Keep posting!
Nice work Megan. I do this meditation listening to the sounds, it’s the best. I’m happy to know I’m letting go each time I do that. Thanks, great video 🎉❤
Again, very helpful ! ! Thank you ! And... hang in there, it's just a matter of time before this channel expands. There's a feeling you have when you know something is going to be great, I have it about this channel :D
Its happens to me same i got fired by my favorite job that's my dream job my ego hurting alot its not about financial.its not accepting because 2 months in training period i work so hard but they still fired me this is the first time happed to me every company which i been work previously they want me to stay
@@meganlovell7721 it's feels so tricky & challenging to *simply* let go and trust god has a plan for you no matter how it seems, i say the affirmation: I trust in the highest and best outcomes, working in thy soul's favour for the good of all NO matter what is occurring -period. But easier said than done to Realllly Realllllly feel that in a deep way if youve experienced much evidence to the contrary. Kno what i mean?
Thank you for your great videos. Can you tell us how much do you meditate per day? As in, not just being the awareness throughout the day, but give yourself some time to sit with closed eyes and focus on your breath for example.
Treat your monkey mind and monkey body as a beloved pet that occasionally needs correction because of the ignorance of not knowing what's best for it to thrive.
I’ve read the power of now and watched lots of videos, but I feel like you added so much and brought things together that I’ve never thought or heard of before! Thanks!
