Night Bot is on a power trip in chat! 🤣 Jess the Human AND Matt from Improve and RPG?! 1:09:07 - Cat alert! 😻 Calling one of the monsters "Hantai-mon" was... a choice... 🤣🤣🤣 Great show! Thanks everyone!
Legit the same. I remember following Fable's development through gaming magazines. Back when it was still called "Project Ego". I was so excited when it released. Gen 2 has always been my favorite with Pokemon as well. It just hits different. I have always felt fortunate to be a kid when Pokemon took the world by storm. Good times.
Honestly, I love this introduction to Wild Sea. I have been wanting to play it for a while so this was a great stream Jes. Keep up the awesome charity ttrpg Streams!
@jesthehuman something else you have to add? Or do you agree that this war is not one-sided? if you dont agree, you're free to go to Gaza and fight with them❤️
How can you not support providing medical aid for people who need it? You just hate these people because they happened to be born Palestinian. If you’re right about 120 captives, then dang. No one’s saying that’s not absolutely horrible. But you know what else is absolutely horrible? All the people (including children) starving to death in Gaza right now. All the people unable to access medical care because of the hospitals that have been bombed. It’s almost like two wrongs don’t make a right. Providing medical aid for people is always a good thing. That’s why doctors take the Hippocratic oath. Idk what made you make this comment dude. What other motivation could you possibly have besides hate?
I've used other props than just maps to make the game more immersive. When playing in the Eberron campaign setting, I've made small 1-sheet newspapers complete with articles of the goings on in the town/world, a print-based game (like a word search or mini-crossword) using in-game lore (such as the name of the king as a clue), and classified ads which act as little plot hooks. My players have enjoyed getting to read the news and see the little easter eggs I put in them where they can read the article and go "wait a minute, we were there when that happened!"
Thanks for making this. About to DM : Narrator a test play of the new Marvel TTRPG. Our group needs to run a zero session and this is a great video. Keep up the great work btw. Have been an early subscriber and its awesome to see your subs growing.
Any tips on letting people know that no lines are too small? Arium is a great tool to help everybody build the world in session zero! Great tips thanks! I love running games but social skills are my dump stat 😬😅
I think stating "no lines are too small" is perfect! Maybe coupling that with we want everyone at the table to feel comfortable at all times to help reinforce that :)
One of the things I did at my last session zero and I think is important for larger groups (8 players in my case) is table etiquette and attention management. Basically what was agreed on was no loud foods, digital notes on phone/laptop is fine, and keep cross talk to a minimum during other players scenes.
A session zero is really important, especially if the players & DM aren't all close friends. Even if you *are* good friends, there's value, because no one knows everything that's going on in a person's life. Safety tools are invaluable too - I've actaully designed digital safety tools for my online campaigns so players can call them up at any time.
I made it a mission for my current DnD character to pet every single animal we can get close to. Last time I managed to hug a bear and survive, now the bear is our friend.
I've never played D&D, but... I'd wanna play with Usopp, Sanji, Cobra, Pell, the LALALALALAAA guy, Vivi, Chopper, Robin, Vivi's best friend, and Nami. I feel like these characters would be able to play a fun game of pretend.
