The Toyota Celica GT-Four RC (Rally Competition) was a high-performance sports car produced by Toyota between 91 and 94. It was a special edition model of the Celica GT-Four, which was Toyota's top-of-the-line sports car at the time. The Celica GT-Four RC was powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four engine that produced 173 kW and 304 Nmof torque. It was mated to a 5-speed manual transmission and had all-wheel drive. The car could accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds and had a top speed of 230 km/h . The Celica GT-Four RC was used extensively in rally racing, and it was particularly successful in the hands of drivers such as Juha Kankkunen, Didier Auriol, and Carlos Sainz. Kankkunen won the World Rally Championship 1993 driving a Celica GT-Four, while Auriol won the championship in 1994.
