I love technology!! This channel is all about sharing my love of technology through reviews, unboxing videos, messing around with electronics and just plain fun. I love Apple products and just got an Apple watch. I also use Windows10 and Linux. I will also talk a lot about video and cameras using my Canon 5dmii, lenses, etc. If you love technology and enjoy some technological craziness you'll love this channel!
I am having DJ situation where it is Two channel Stereo input and I need Mono output. Yes, I know the DJ should send Mono out but we have rotating DJ's and they do what they want. We have four rooms reach with 1 pre-sonus 1200 in it, thus the need for Mono
The problem with this mixer for me is that it does not have a delay+reverb combined effect. Which is very important for the kind of vocal effect I need.
this is actually a very helpful video!! Im a visual learner and something about seeing all this like-this helps me connect the pieces mentally. esp after working a fair number of corp events
Thank you for this video! We got a new soundboard and, since I've got a good ear, thought I could help out. I got sent home with some links to vids on the particular model and a manual. It was Greek to me. Fast forward a year without messing with the soundboard, I found a Mackie for a good price and wanted to see reviews for it. Here I am sent here by Google (thank you, Google, for doing something really right!) and you have explained it in a way that makes total sense to me! I'm just thrilled to bits right now. 👍🏼🙏🏼🙂
In a couple of scenes, it appears you are taking off from State Parks..I live a couple of miles from your opening shots and your video is beautiful...Are you Pt 107 qualified, or did you just go and shoot? either way, fantastic work...
Can you make another vid? Showing the backstage area where we keep empty crates. But, also the backside of the equipment: LED walls, projector screens, etc.
Hello sir.. Thank's o lot for your informations.. Ihave a problem in my cfx 12.. The probleme is that i have just eeffect signal. So when i make button time in 5 i have juste effect late but the time reel is no available.. Can you help me. Thank
I have the 16 track version of this board and I like it, I wanted sweepable mids too. Here's a gain setting tip, because it's not volume per se, it's more like how much of the signal one is letting in. Tip: to set the gain, hit the PFL/Solo button on that channel so all one hears and the only thing the board is taking in is the gain level. Then, sound check it with the solo button on and watch the meters as you sound check, shouldn't go too much into the orange lights, I record on a reel-to-reel analog multitrack machine, so I set those gain levels to just touch into the orange lights on the "Main Meter" lights, or just touching into +6 on those meters, tape saturates well where digital DAWs do not. And then take off the solo button and adjust volume from there. I find this to be very useful in setting gain levels for varying mics, be they dynamic or condenser or ribbon...each has its own sound quality and response level...and this keeps one from getting overly gained sound on their mics. Volume and gain are not the same and one shouldn't be leaning on gain settings to get the volumes they're looking for as it will distort the sound and can make mics and instruments sound bad. Once one sets the gain that way, it's done and faders can be used correctly as needed for volume input.
One feature mackie doesn’t have, as I just found out is no dedicated USB output fader. So if you are running USB out for say a livestream, you are only able to boost your volume output with a channel gain. USB is prefader. So you won’t have a very loud volume when streaming.
WOW, slow down mate...not sure if this mixer feeds into an Active or Passive Speaker...not sure your JBL studio Montiors are Active or Passive...please clarify!
Great video guy! Quick question. Does the onboard graphic equalizer mix the output or input? I'd like to tailor my voice a little going into my ham radio before it transmits out the radio. Thank you.
I really wish more reviews were after a decent amount of use. The first day reviews are all pretty useless if you are trying to determine if something is actually going to fit into your life.
