There are few brands out there whose cine glass is exactly the same glass as their photo glass, just in proper housing for cinema usage. So, the real answer is no, optically cinema lenses are not different from photo lenses, but of course they just may be a different lenses. For example some brands might produce only cine glass, or only photo glass, without equivalent. And for cinema usually preferable qualities are low focus breathing and parfocality for zooms, so differences are more on technical side. In terms of “look” - this is just artistic preferences, and some DPs actually prefer some stills lenses for their “look”.
New subscriber. Love your videos. Have you used the fx3 with Reemus yet? If so does it look as cinematic as the Komodo does? I lots will be lighting but just curious if image is close with fx3 and Reemus combo.
@@chrisjohnsonfilms thank you!! I think it’s more cinematic with the fx3 bc of the full frame! It shows more barrel distortion and aberrations. The Komodo is a s35 sensor so it cuts a decent amount of that out.
Wonderfull edit ! It touched my heart 🙏🏻 The grade is rich and really beautifull ! I would only suggest to stabilize a bit in certain parts, but still awesome piece of work ! Blessings from France !
Dude, your videos are amazing! i'ts not like the boring same things like all others youtuber do. Very interesting to watch! (i hope you do some videos for the new laowa argus t1)
I'm amazed how accommodating the 6k Pro is. Even on my first shoots it turned out decently. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Z0udzcsvuV0.htmlsi=hkSM4Cj0civvpb5w&t=76
I think the video demonstrates just how indistinguishable the two cameras are. In a practical sense any differences we see here are so small a minor editing tweak would have the shots matched perfectly. So bravo to the ugly kid with power issues. The BM keeps showing up with the goods you want to see.
