So Tenacity is pre and post emergent safe to use same time as seeding... t-zone is post emergent only and you cannot seed for 3 weeks after you lay it down ☺️🤙🏾
I'm up in Lynnwood. I put down some seed in my bare spots on Memorial Day. I had germination in 6 days. No pre germination this time either. Just put a little topsoil down, seeded, and a little peat moss. Didn't use any starter fertilizer either. It was the Showcase seed from my local nursery.
Is covering the seeds with compost better than covering with peat moss? I've always used peat moss when I do overseeding or when I'm repairing a patch of grass but the compost idea is intriguing.

What dirt/soil are you using to fill in low spots? I just topdressed my lawn with a 50/50 blend of blended topsoil/mason sand and then overseeded with perenial rye and raked it in.Added some scotts starter fertizlier a few days later. Sine then its been 8 days but only seeing a little bit of stuff coming through the sand. Its been raining like crazy so hopefully in a few more days it thickens up
