Jag vandrade Kungsleden sommaren 2021. Vilken underbar upplevelse! Jag planerar varandra Kungsleden igen nästa år. I am enjoying your content. Keep up the good work! Jon’s Dad RU-vid.com/@JonsDadHikes
Hello Alex :) Awesome video, great adventure! I am also thinking about to do a trekking tour through the Sarek Nationalpark. Do you have a GPS Track from your tour?
Hi! I would certainly recommend you to do so! Try this link: connect.garmin.com/modern/activity/5250819001# This is the first day of the trip, then you should be able to toggle forward to the coming days I belive!
@@tomask.3983 Okej men vad roligt!
Still one of the best drone footage here shot while packrafting! I assume you avoided take off/landing on the packraft if possible? If you had to how did you land the drone while on the water? I am just starting to record while paddling and the reason I am asking: one of my favourite rivers has landing options only every 30 min or so = so I am trying to figure out how to best land it on the packraft while being on a stable location (hanging branch) at the shore. Thank you
Hi! I have done several take offs and landings while on the water. It’s actually easier than you might think to start and land by hand, just hold it to start and catch it and flip it afterwards to stop it from spinning (at least my DJI drone stops when you flip it swiftly). It might take some practice but try it on land a couple of times ’til you get the hang of it!
cool journey video! i hiked sarek with a good friend of mine in 2017, unforgettable memories... we went from ritsem to kvikjokk and took some heavy detour... what an adventure this was... when you got to higher levels ~34:00 we met 2 hikers warning us of mosquito downtown which, obviously, you guys experienced first hand. we swam(crazy stuff :D) through the big river southwest of the laddebakte mountain and somehow cross country hiked southwest and then south around the park for 3 more days, It brings back so many great memories and the two of you definitely had an awesome adventure, it looked poretty cold tho. Hope you keep fond memories of it :)! Every single person we met on our hike was friendly, offering help for river crossings and such. So from that point on I more or less took the same route as you, thanks for sharing !! Have a good year and the best of luck !
Hey Alex! I made the same trip when I was 24 years old. I'm now 70 and your film brings me to tears. Thank you for the upload. Stay save. Greetings from Germany.
Beautiful Alex! I love the details you try to capture in order to give the viewer a complete experience. This summer, we just did a three day trip from Sitoälvsbron to Skierfe, staying over in Aktse cottage, though not going into the Rappavalley. The mosquitoes are the essential nuisance in this otherwise adventurous experience. Coming back to the gears, did you carry just one lens or how many? was there any go pro involved, how else you were holding the camera during most of the shoot? It must be hurting to navigate the road and shoot at the same time, as I understand its just you a couple during the trip? what kind of footwear was used for crossing the waterbodies? I also liked the fact that you left the camera at the other end to shoot you guys at 30.40mins and 34,00, etc. How far away from you did you spot the moose? Day 6 was so rewarding to be greeted by the herd of moose! How many batteries you were carrying, for 8 days of shoot, it must be a heck of task!! Thanks for sharing!!
Hi, great to hear that you went to Sarek! I carried a single 12-60 mm lens for my Panasonic Lumix G80. No other camera were used! I pretty much hike with camera in hand all the time, you kind of get used to it. I used simple flip flops and my girlfriend used dedicated bathing shoes. The moose just suddenly rose from the tall grass 10-15 meters in front of us! It must have been resting. I carried 3 batteries but recharged continously from a 20 000 mAh powerbank!
I real enjoyed going along with you and seeing the beautiful scenery along the way. This is the way I travel the world with the people I meet on here. Thank you. I’m from the USA... 🌺🦋🌺
Hej!
Yeah I actually do have a full setup of ND and polarizing filters but haven’t found myself using them on trips like this yet, unfortunately. But thanks for the reminder, perhaps it will help me implement them :)
Fett nice. Men måste varit kallt.
I was thinking to do this same route (Except starting in Ritsem). However, I'm starting to reconsider... too many mosquitos and bushwacking. Anything you would have done differently?
Really the least enjoyable part was through the Rapa Valley, for obvious reasons. It was an experience though, and kind of added something to the whole trip. But I do understand those who avoid it. In short, maybe I would consider another route for my next visit, but I don’t regret our decisions the last time
Hej!
@@alexanderostholm Thanks! No problem. Now, I can't travel (and maybe for many years to come due to family problems). The name of the places is sufficient, I don't use gps! (I prefer paper maps, probably in the future, I will buy one).
