2 bb vs btn scenarios with perceived flopped trips one as a bluff and one actual with two really different thought processes, fair enough for the different board dynamics but I think something to consider

No he’s a digital nomad, he’s got a really kitted out camper van (he spent like 250k), works remotely as a software engineer and plays poker and streams in his free time
this is why i try not to play 10$ trnys. u go all in and half the table is waiting just to punt off preflop for a big pot, its literally not even poker. no bluffs work, all ur big hands get outdrawn, small value bets get treated like a party invitation, its just backwards poker in general and it throws off my game when i go back to playing not high stakes but higher stakes or 100$ buy ins.
@@TheLoadedATM well I have a bluff heavy game...I steal a lot of small pots in higher stakes that is simply not possible in 10$ trnys. And even Doyle Brunson says it in super system..the higher stakes you play the easier it is to make money because the whole idea behind poker is to put people in tough spots for all their chips AND being good at catching players get out of line using this tactic. Which you can't do in 10$ buy ins because nobody cares. For someone that says they combat variance by mass tabling your kinda contradicting yourself now. Because how can you want more variance and/or not want to mitigate it in other ways? Mass tabling isn't the only way to counter variance or maybe you don't know that. From watching you play I can tell your just used to low stakes bingo poker because you don't really try many elaborate bluffs in spots where I would bluff.

This is not meant as a negative critique but at FT's, do you play less ICM and more ChipEV? It seems like you play a little wider than I would in some of these spots. I guess this could be because you don't care about ending 10th or 2nd, and you only want to win? Would love to hear your reasoning! Also, ignore the stupid comments that question your game and keep up the entertaining streams!
@@Alex-ol3vp I feel like I do tend to go a little wider than I should sometimes, but ICM isn't as strong for bounty tournaments which I do keep in mind. I also just make a lot of mistakes so if you're thinking a play I made could be bad it probably just is, don't trust me lol
@@TheLoadedATMFirst of all I definitely think you are a better player than me, but at the FT when the bounties are smaller than a payjump shouldn't ICM be more important? Didnt check whether this was the case in this video tho so I could be wrong!
