I am a serial entrepreneur and the author of The Art of Startup Fundraising which was named by Book Authority as one of the best fundraising books of all time. I also host the DealMakers podcast where I interview some of the most successful entrepreneurs.
I founded Panthera Advisors, a premier investment banking and financial consulting firm specializing in M&A, capital fundraising, company valuations and strategic planning. I also co-founded The Inner Circle - an online resource center, community, and platform designed to help entrepreneurs who are looking to raise early-stage financing rounds. Most recently, I built and exited CoFoundersLab, one of the largest communities of founders online. Prior to CoFoundersLab, I worked as a lawyer at King & Spalding where I was involved in one of the biggest investment arbitration cases in history ($113 billion at stake).
Started my own biz & Been President & CEO for 11 YEARS now. It was, is and still is the most challenging thing I've ever done...and the MOST rewarding as well. To whom much is given much is REQUIRED. It's not for ALL!
RU-vid, no matter how many of these videos you proceed to shove down my eyeballs, they do me nothing in legislated poverty. If the government doesn't value disabilities, who else would? Social media videos have no power in this discrimination.
Thanks for this informative video. I have a question, plz. Why an entrepreneur would sell his/her startup? Are there reasons besides if it is a failing business?
It is a bad video ,if u do not already know some stuff ,u can not learn from here, and the examples nut just in the example category are not explaind how they really are
I am about to begin a saas business. My idea has absolutely make crazy everyone about the potentials. My MVP needs the first (pre seed} investor. All the metrics from similar companies are out there and I am far far best from any other company and everyone sees that and agree. But even though, I cant do it by myself the valuation.. Oh, its so difficult. Anyway
Thank you, this has been helpful tips as Treatinet is looking forward to Jim Leech Mastercard Fellowship Final Pitch Competitions on 24th August 2023. Thankyou
PITCH DICK ??? LOL Be sure you say DECK (como la E en Castellano, un poco más abierta) because dick... LOL is not deck. Just an advice. Check the sync. I would use a English speaking V.O. speaker, it will make the videos really better.
When an investor who wants to buy the startup company he asks for financial statements which normally in startups not very high which will affect investor valuation some how, so how to put the spendings shall I amplify the spendings or be straightforward with it?
