I'm surprised I haven't seen this before... I've scrolled through page after page of RU-vid search results from "Patton" I've lived here for almost 40 years now and raised two awesome kids here... Every town has both pros and cons... I've learned that you can't believe ANYTHING that someone tells you about another person from Patton, and you probably shouldn't believe half of what they show ya...! There's a ton of great people here but unfortunately there are some down right awful heartless deceptive people that blend right in... You would never imagine what they are capable of at first glance... BE GOOD OR BE GOOD AT IT
I moved to Patton 9 months ago. I bought an old mansion built by the guy who ran the clay works. Pretty fascinating to see what you remember most. Thanks for the video :)
Welcome to Patton...! I've lived here for almost 40 years now and raised two awesome kids here... Every town has both pros and cons so if you haven't already figured this out, I'd like to share a piece of advice that could possibly spare you and protect you from small town drama... Don't believe ANYTHING that someone tells you about another person from Patton, and don't believe half of what they show ya...! There's a ton of great people here but unfortunately there are some down right awful heartless deceptive people that blend right in... I grew up in Altoona. Every year would camp at Prince Gallitzin and go to the Patton market for dinners. Loved the little town and the area. Stumbled across this vid and brought back great memories. Thank you.
Christ this was insane to see some of this. I was Born in 82 and I lived on Russell Ave before moving to Chicago in 93. My dad was the priest for the small church at St. Luke’s (Lukes & Thomas now) a couple blocks from our house. I went to the original grade school before they closed down & the new Cambria Heights opened. I remember passing a barn/house on the way to CH everyday on the bus that had the Simpsons painted on it, we all went nuts when we passed it. My mom saved this letter🙄 from the bank downtown telling me how lively I was & that they were so happy that I returned a friggin PEN I stole WHEN I WAS ABOUT 5. There’s so many photos I’ve got to dig up now.... THANK YOU FOR THIS SO MUCH, MAN!!
Bob Helbig wow that’s amazing you found me! I remember coming over to your house & swimming in Ednas back yard in that little pool that was set up for us! 🥳🤗 Great memories I think about often!
Some of my family is from Patton. Only ever had the opportunity to visit once for two days but it was beautiful. Ironically it was also to attend a wedding 😂. Wish I could visit the place more.
Woah, I just saw this video and it made me so happy. My whole family grew up there (including me) and my dad still lives there. I miss when my brother and I were going someone and people were like “oh god here comes the Gray’s” good times. I miss that, this video made me tear up a little tbh.
Thank you! It’s absolutely gorgeous here. The shirt at the end is actually a breast cancer awareness shirt, but the big foot one will be featured soon!! Thanks for checking out my video 😁
