I can't believe it took dozens and dozens of time watching this video, to notice the "Rest Stop" sign in the wider shot. Blimey, shows were my attention was riveted to. ☺ Just wonderful. If anyone ever wandered what the boys looked like without their clothes on... there you go! P.S. Before anyone flags me as a "voyeur", let me say this; I listen to this regularly to sing along. Proud to sing Richard's part. ;)
LOOOOL I don't believe any of these guys, would be willing to take their clothes off this time around. Mind you, there would be nothing bad about it. Golden aged bodies are still wonderful.
I love all Rusty Goodman songs and records. What a blessed man with a perfect voice. The Woodsman is just a magnificent song in every single way. I can't listen to it enough. Rusty passed away too soon. He's one of the first people in Heaven I want to meet when I get there.
This has to be the funniest country music video of a song I have ever seen and the most ridicules. Looks like it would have been on Hee Haw. Bet they turn red faced every time they see it. Still laughing. Thanks enjoyed it
Wow...I've never Mr. Golden without the facial hair! Who woulda thunk that there was a Hollywood matinee idol up under all that hair? I first got exposed to the ORB when I was about 7 years old ("Elvira"), so this phase is completely foreign to me.
I went down to Mexico to have a little fun To hang around, see the town, lay out in the sun As I walked along one evening just outside of town I passed a little chapel, and I heard a pretty sound Curiosity carried me in to stay a while And I heard things I hadn't heard since I was a child They sang about God's saving grace right there in that little place I found Jesus down in Mexico I know that I never shall forget All the pretty things I found in Mexico, and yet The most beautiful and precious ever told Was salvation that I found in Mexico I may never see that little Spanish town again But I'll always think of it as where my life begain Every day I'm lifted up, just knowing that I'm saved I don't have to worry about life beyond the grave I'm depending on God's power to keep me safe through every hour Eternity is beautiful to me I have a better life, I know; I tell it everywhere I go I found Jesus down in Mexico I know that I never shall forget All the pretty things I found in Mexico, and yet The most beautiful and precious ever told Was salvation that I found in Mexico I know that I never shall forget All the pretty things I found in Mexico, and yet The most beautiful and precious ever told Was salvation that I found in Mexico I found Jesus down in Mexico
This is the video that introduced me to the Oaks back when it first came out. And I have been hooked ever since and getting my kids hooked. Awesome. Thanks for posting
Well I shot an interview with you guys for Alabama Public Television back in 1980, so it was on PBS - at least in Alabama. You performed with Tammy Wynette in Birmingham. That was a fun shoot. Everybody was cool - no attitude. I can't say that for all celebrities that I've worked with.
