For some reason I hate big chunks of silver inlays on my VW beautiful beasts. Just pick up a VW Golf and it’s the first one with Carbon inlays and was not sure if I would like it as you think Carbon and you think boy racers. I have actually fallen in love with the look now.
I used a torque 15 DA with chemical guys V36… the clear coat was failing on the driver side middle of the hood. So I decided to give it somewhat a polish and it left somewhat like scratches on it. I believe I burnt through the clearcoat or something. This was on a 2016 Civic, same metallic grey are in the video. I use the same technique I asked I did on my 2000 Tahoe. Paint is trashed has rock chips, crows feet and what not. and I even did a full pay correction on it. About two months ago I use torque DA with chemical guys V36 and v38, with the orange cutting pad and a white pad as well. And I did not damage the paint more than it already was. It has a good shine, clearcoat is failing on the driver side hood near the vent. Anyone have some good tips to polish a civic? Read on some threads that the paint is super soft on Honda and the clear coat fails a lot. Thanks
