I’m really happy they kept SplasH20 after the renovation! I’ve been going to Cedar Point my whole life, and I remember when there was mini golf and go-karts where the new Cedar Point Shores entrance now stands. I was a pretty cowardly kid, so I’d only really play around in SplasH20 and the wave pool. I’m going back next week so I should check it out again and relive the nostalgia ✨

I HATE Six Flags over Georgia!! If it weren't for a lot of the coasters, the park would be intolerable. I'm so glad Cedar Fair has taken over.

You can ride around the splash river as much as you want my record is 6 laps before I got bored and decided to head back to the pool.

Can you do all the park in 1 day?

I raced a hydroplane there in the mid 90s, it was a tiny course, but awesome to race there, we'd ride the roller coaster between heats

just went on this today..holy smoke it is crazy..worst part you keep slidding down..I was int he front and my back or butt would hit the bog bumps...try and sit up like she did if you could..great footage

It was a bit too intense for me I’ll stick to the classic wooden coasters which don’t go too fast

Seems like the coaster was jumping it's tracks due to a problem with the side-protection barriers and/or the wheels. Provided that the operator took out the cart it could be likely that the wheels could've been worn out due to the prominent wear and tear of the wheels.. It could've also been a rare issue where the ride could've experienced too much kinetic energy for it's age and the car gave way (and jumped). Either way there are many causes to this issue.

Thats a sad place now, only death.

I do recall a time when Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor were one theme park.

No actually this place used to be the exact same they just changed the double dare drop name and the bucket in the playground and made things more expensive, they’ve also added like one slid.

This will not be open until next year. Way too much still has to be done. The Merger with Budget restrictions has really messed up Great Adventure for the 50th Anniversary. It’s a Shame..

Being from Pittsburgh, I always thought Kennywood was the bee knees (live in Dallas now and Six Flags is not as good). Hershey was NOT on the radar when I was growing up in the 80's, early 90's. But the next time i am home, WE ARE GOING. This place looks awesome! Great video!!!
