Crime is way up, traffic is at its worst, and Clarksville is no longer the family friendly place it was years ago. There are so many liquor/vape stores, nail stores and car washes in every corner. God forbid anyone that lives near Tiny Town Rd too… they keep jamming homes when the area is packed with traffic and wrecks… and they keep adding. We need to focus on safety for our city, we need to bring in more shops/dining, revamp our roads and fix what is broken before we bring more people. It’s sad that Clarksville is coming to this :( I used to love and be proud of our city.

Did you actually *pay* *attention* to Councilman Holleman’s presentation? If so, it seems to me that you misunderstood it. He didn’t bully LGBTQ+ people, but quite the contrary - he pointed out the bullying that LGBTQ+ advocates practice.

Wanda You seem to be whining about the old Frosty Morn Building-a train wreck-while the Purple Heart Parkway was supposed to be completed in 2005, 2010, and 2015. and 2022 I used to bowl at SkyLine Lanes and would always gaze at that building whenever I went there, so it has been an eyesore for more than 40 years. You have all thrown a lot of money around this town, but instead of fixing all these old, damn buildings that are sitting there, you just keep building more, damn buildings. And as to your question about not putting up things around the low income communities is because they demolish everything in those AREAS WANADA, which is why they don't do anything in your terrible AREAS. Here's how you deal with it. Put a stop to the building in this town until the infrastructure can catch up. There's a new strip mall built on every block, usually right next to one that's still got open space. You allow huge neighborhoods to be built in areas that have no way to enter or exit safely and continue to do absolutely nothing about it while lives are lost. You sit idly by while "developers" come to the town you grew up in and lay waste to it for future generations. It's great that you were able to have such a great time growing up here, but you're not doing a thing to keep Clarksville, you're turning it in to Nashville, and nobody wants that.
This really inspires me to actually commit to my dream of becoming a officer. I want to protect, and serve my community. Once I am of the age I do plan on signing up. And I really do hope I can make a difference, and hopefully bring some respect back to my local department.
