They All sang. All wrote. All played instruments. They were what we called musicians. Not many around today. I dont know if Freddie had been diagnosed yet, but it sounds like he knew time was short. "Body's aching all the time." I think this was his goodbye song for us. And his band singing, "We will not let him go." Such an emotional song.
I love the reactions from people who are just now llistening to Rush! Have a look at "The Garden" live version. Thanks for posting and please keep up the good work!
Would love to see your reaction to The Broken Bells "Holding on for Life" (official music video). An awesome black & white duo with a highly original sound. I don't think anyone's reacted to their music on RU-vid. 😊
Are you serious, people don't dance in clubs anymore? WTF has happened to nightlife in this country? I had one of our interns explain to me what bottle service has turned into. What you call bottle service was exclusive to high-end strip clubs in the 1990s and 2000s. But you people have to pay to park, at the door, and then expected to pay for a bottle service too? This is why clubs are dying.
Love your reactions! Always brighten my day. Singing, dancing and smiling to this classic groove, here in England during the 90s. The rapper, Q-Tip featured on this is from A Tribe Called Quest. If you haven't already reacted, check out their hit Can I Kick It? (1990) It's a vibe and a half
Here’s a song for you, but one caveat, you’re only allowed to play this song on a Friday afternoon after a long hard week of working… grab a beer and turn the volume right up !! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-t3TPmPOrDEk.htmlsi=1svr9CfQAdGYy0Wp
The song is a precursor of what's happening noe. The internet and cellphones have replaced face to face conversations. The art of conversing is being lost.
Man back in the 90s we gooved to d lite in the clubs but our focus was outlaw doofs illegal in the bush(forest) where we pushed the limits sonically and chemically the 90s was a great time to have big fun .....wish you could have experienced it
Oh yeah we were dancing fools. I mean that was some good people out there. Dancing used to go to this one club after another club closed down because the manager was stupid but a place called nighttown in Destin Florida whose owners got stupid as well and got them closed down and believe it or not it's not a church but I haven't started out there so much for fighting but that's okay. But yeah they had this great DJ. His name was doc Rock and even I danced a few times but I was drunk as hell and the only person that could get me to dance was this one girl that I was madly in love with and I know I must have been a site cuz you know how they say white man can't dance. Some white guys can dance. I can't. I was probably out there just spasming around. Good thing we didn't have video at the time but yeah you could do anything in this club in the middle of the dance. Well, not in the middle of dance floor in the middle behind the dance floor. They had this pink semi cab and of course when the music was playing any headlights would flash the blinkers and all that would go too. And then there was a story above that where you could dance and two little round dance floors to the sides of it than the big Dad's four in the middle and then they had a smaller club or room when you first walk in. And of course Wednesday nights where 50 cent night which was $0.50 well drinks and 50 centers and then on the weekends it was free drinks but Audi specials were for 2 hours. But hell yes we were dancing. I mean back in the '80s and I'd say up to the mid '90s. We even had teen clubs. Matter of fact if I can find a commercial to One of the teen clubs I'll paste it so you can look at it. Actually I think it was adult club as well or actually I gave it back. It was an adult club but a lot of teens got into it anyway cuz that's how it was back then. Especially if you were female. I haven't been into a club since nightown closed down in 2000. Whatever but it was fun
This is a decent song bringing back a '60s groove for the '90s and it worked. It was a decent song I said. Don't make me jump through this phone and show you some real music. Just kidding, although I am a little disappointed. A while back I spent about 3 hours sending you music and it all just disappeared. Don't know what happened to it, but that's okay. I still enjoy your reactions boo LOL
Have you checked out "Love Shack" yet? That's from 1989 and was similarly retro, but more of the 60s style, and talk about a full-on dance and singalong blast!
