@@erikacain5707 Good morning. My main companies I work with are Amrock, Bancserv, and snap docs. But it could be different depending on the amount of notaries in your area. These 3 give me 90 percent of my work.
@@RealTalkChronicles614 it’s so odd I’ve been on Snapdocs almost 2 months now and haven’t gotten any notifications. All my credentials were confirmed to be verified and I had a 100 ok the quiz. Any tips?
I can personally say out of the ones I use snapdocs send me the least amount and they tend to be lowball amounts. I guess it just depends on the area as well. Larger cities will have more notaries and experienced ones usually get them first.
Hello there! Try ServiceLink, Mortgage Connect, Townsgate, and Signature Closers. Other platforms you can sign up on are Signingorder, Notary Dash, and Notary Cafe'. Hope this helps.
@@RealTalkChronicles614 Good Evening. So I received a notification for a purchase package about 40 minutes from my home. It was for $100. About how many pages are purchases usually? I need the practice since I’m brand new but someone had already claimed the assignment
I have a samsung galaxy tablet with t mobile internet service. The tablet at the time was free with service. I paid $35 connection fee and it's $10 a month. Of course I'm writing all this off on taxes as a business expense.
@erikacain5707 I do. It's just not as often as I did when I first started 4 yrs ago. I think my area is saturated with notaries doing general work. I'm looking to maybe try to ramp up doing more if possible.
Good Morning. For your virtual signings do you use a specific platform? Also what shift do you work at your full time job because you do a lot of signings 😂 I work 8 to 4:30 M-F and I’m praying I have as many as you here in Texas
Hey good morning! It depends on which company I do the remote signings for but a majority of them I use Pavoso platform. Its set up and paid through the signing service. I work remote and work super early...5am to 130 pm most times. Trust me I know it's early but I'm use to it after many yrs now! Believe me I went through times when I would be lucky to get 1 a week. I expanded my counties I would service a little out and have steady got more. The rates increasing definitely put a dent in work. But it comes in flows. Full time probably wouldn't work for me right now but there was a time during covid it was booming and I declined tons of work! Just do what you can when you can. It will all work out for you!
Good Evening. So I’ll be forming an LLC and I plan to get a virtual business line. Do you use your personal phone number specifically for signing services? My main concern is not missing out on text messages
Hi! I've been using my personal phone number just because like you said I don't want to miss out on any text sent by my main services. I also have an old Google number I use for some that don't give much work. I just have that number forward any messages to my main number.
Good Evening. The signing services you use do they usually pay via paper checks or can you select direct deposit? I’m trying to pick a good bank with low fees for my Notary business as well any suggestions you have would be greatly appreciated ❤❤
Good Evening. My main signing services I use on do direct deposit, which I prefer since checks can sometimes be a hassle to deposit with some online business accounts. But I still sometimes receive checks. I use BlueVine for my business account. I pay no fees and they are pretty good about getting back to you if you have issues. This is a online bank and not one of the big banks. But I've been with them since I started and have no issues. But there are many out there. Just make sure about any hidden fees.
Hi it’s me again lol.😂 Do you typically have a lot of signing where the borrow has to give you a cashiers check for closing costs? And also do the signers always get the full copy of the documents before the signing from the title company
Hi ya! 😃 It's rare now that I get a check for any closing cost. Most people just want wire the funds since it's fast to receive and verify. But when I do get a check I usually paperclip it to the front of the documents so it's the first thing they see when the package is delivered. With my experience the signers of things such as refi or purchasing closings usually receive their closing disclosures 3 days in advance they aren't surprised by the numbers at signing. But believe me some people are still surprised or don't bother looking at them until the close 😒
Good Morning. Do you tag your signatures with sticky note or something before you head to the signing? And how many copies of the documents do you usually print and take
Good morning. When I first started I did tag the signature lines. But after doing a few I got more comfortable knowing where the signatures are for each document. But taking your time and going back over the documents after you are done will do the trick. As for copies I only take one for the client if it calls for it. For E signs or certain other documents you won't need copies. Most times they will be uploaded onto their online account.
Good Morning. I have a few question. 1. For your loan signings, for tax purposes do you use a specific software to keep track of each signing cost? 2. Also for tax purposes do you use some sort of ledger for gas mileage and car maintenance as deductions for tax purposes? 3. Do you have a portable scannner in your car?
Good morning, 1. I use notary gadget for tracking purposes. It tracks everything from mileage to average of each cost per signing. It also gives breakdown of how much you made each quarter so you can do quarterly taxes. I believe it's $12 a month or 120 for a yr. But you can write it off too in taxes. It's well worth it to me. 2. Notary Gadget has all of that for me to keep track of it. The app is outstanding! 3. I don't have a portable scanner. I only have the one I have at home. I also have a scanner app on my phone as well, which most signing companies accept if I'm on the road and need to scan. It takes time but I have to do what I have to do.
Hi. I appreciate these videos so much. Do you have a lot of weekend and evening loan signing opportunities with the companies you use? I work full time and am currently going through a Notary academy as well
Hello. Yes, I tend to have more afternoon/evening signings with occasional ones on the weekend. I also work full-time so with some of the companies I work for I set up a schedule when I would be available.
The baby heard it hitting off the window before I was even paying attention. The video doesn't do justice on how much was really coming down. Good thing it was only a few mins.
Hi buddy I hope you’re doing ok . I Just passed my loan signing training through the loan signing system. I’m still haven’t done any signings yet. What’s your advice, what do you recommend me to focus on next? Thanks I enjoy your videos. God Bless
Thank you! What I did when I first started was focus on Signing up with as many signing services as possible, such as snapdocs and Amrock. After that I watched a few people on youtube doing mock signings. This helped me out so much just figuring out a pattern of doing signings and what the different documents mean. After that it's a waiting game for jobs. You will be nervous with the first few. But after a while you get to know what the documents are and where people sign. You will do great my friend!
Hi Jared, for some reason the algorithms brought me to your video. Curious to know if you are going to be using that loan for real estate purposes? I got a HELOC loan myself a couple of months ago, working on my first flip house which is located in St Louis Missouri. I've got another channel where I discuss real estate and financial stuff. I am just like you, love to discuss several different topics! This is one of my many RU-vid channels. Looking forward to chatting and nice to meet you!
Hi! You fixed it 😊. I was just going to comment not only are they totally smacked because the fires, but, they got that big hurricane coming through as well..
Water intoxication, also known as water poisoning, hyperhydration, overhydration, or water toxemia, is a potentially fatal disturbance in brain functions that results when the normal balance of electrolytes in the body is pushed outside safe limits by excessive water intake.
I know you always talk about doing the notary.. I think I'd like to look into doing the online ones... or just being a plain notary, not the ones you do for the signing...
People really haven't moved over too fast to do a lot of online signings as of yet. I've done maybe 60 in the two years I've had the license to do online ones. I mean they are 65 bucks for about 10 mins of work. But just not a lot of work out there. Regular notary services in Ohio can charge 5 bucks a stamp and travel fee. Loan signings are the way to the big money and so many more out there as long as you want to travel.
I avoid ALL stores on tax free weekend... ain't no way its worth that. I'm glad they offered the online options, it doesn't make sense to not.. and you better leave my boy alone. He living his best life being a youtuber.. I love his vids.. watched them all last night,
I'm buying houses and cars for immediate family... and yes I loooved watching Pee Wee's play house. But damn I read he was caught with child pornography. Ruined one of my favorite movies..
