Cool adam hughes pin up. I recently heard that booster golds first sketch drawing was a dc comics newsletter. It was coming out in comic shops in the 80s. Cool to see these early drawings that are unheard of.
I just found out about that Marvel Super Heroes Rogue's 1st appearance 2 years ago. It totally fills in the gap that leads into Avengers Annual 10. Crazy! The issue before the Rogue one would have been Sabretooth's 2nd appearance over PM & IF 66 if Ms. Marvel wasn't cancelled. The beauty of comics!
Nice pick-ups! Honestly, I'm not a Jurassic Park collector and I can't see paying more than a buck or two for #10. Yes, people are trying to sell that book on ebay for $20, $30, $40. I think if people look around they'll be able to get those books for $2. IMO, Hellblazer #27's value is the one-off story by Gaiman and the art by Mckean. Dealers keep saying it's low print run but there are a plethora of those books for sale all over the place. There's like 30 copies for sale on ebay alone. It's not rare or scarce. You've just proven that. Keep it up!
Another nice mix of books-I try to hit up those community garage sales too but haven’t found too many people selling comics lately. Thanks for sharing your finds
Spider Super Stories #25 was actually the very first Spiderman Clone Stories in The Spiderman Comic line back then most likely and starter The Clone Sagas Themselves.
Cool books Brother. If You can I would buy the rest of those books. Thanks again for sharing Your passion and adventures from Toronto Ontario Canada 😎 👍 ♥️ ♥️📚📚📚📚📚✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️💯💯💯💯💯
It's been more misses than hits lately. Getting harder to find books in my area. This one was about 1.5 hour drive from me. An most of the time when I do find books I'm interested in people want outlandish prices for them. Been enjoying your finds. Happy hunting my friend.
Yes there are. I was very pleased with this box and I'm planning on going back this Saturday. I'll post the second part tomorrow hopefully. Thanks for watching
Yeah, The Mandalorian variants I'll give 1 each to my daughters. They love that show. I should make my money back even at 1/2 off cover at my stand. The venom 5 variant I'll keep for the PC
I'd have the comics some of those comics cleaned and pressed. Before sending them off to CGC. It does make a big difference on the grades CGC will end up giving you. Also if there any comics with rusty or missing staples or missing Marvel Value stamps. Or ads cut out, you can easily repair those page by replacing the damages, cut out, ripped or missing pages. I used to buy a lot of coverless or in rough shape. Copies of key issues like ASMs, Hulks #180-#182. Then repair them by going very gently by pulling up the staples from the center of the issue. Removing the pages until you get to the missing/damageds page. And simply put in the replace pg, put the rest in gently again. Then gently flatting the staples back into place.I got payed by customers to repair and upgrade issues for them like this and replace covers too once in awhile. With other copies that had extra covers or just much nicer coverswith interiors that had pages ripped etc.
Thank you for sharing and doing this videos as a new collector of all things comics and marvel universe since 2021, this video provides me a road map of all the top keys in collectecting comics outside the golden age era. Thank you.
Love that Boston fan expo with the Randy Green cover !!!! Collected the Vampirella books because of the old Harris magazines, And the Lady Death, because of the stories. Also seeing Steven Hughes at a local Comicon before he passed.
