Not sure if this is a bug or what, but I took the scope off my S3 Archangel Sniper and it snapped to the P8-AR even though the P8-AR says only S2 scopes will attach. Did a bunker mission... hehe. The gun performed exceptionally well to be nerfed come the next patch cycle.
they need to patch in the ammo weight though.. but man i love that rifle. btw i rock that same type of armor set up, only difference is i use the Morozov-SH Helmet Redshift helmet giving me that N7 mass effect vibe
@@MrThoughts101 also this mission is classified as a horde mode mission meaning as you wait for the care package more and more and stronger enemies will continue to spawn till you leave
@@MrThoughts101 if you have cold two arms activated you get 500 credit per enemy so the payout is 25K for the lowest tier level of this mission. You could easily walk away with 50 K after killing all the enemies that continue to spawn. The higher tier levels pay out 50 to 75K

@@AndreasMadsen most paid for items or items that have special unique attributes are usually only found in loot boxes. I don’t think CIG would ever put it in stores, but who knows

Love semi-auto rifles, but I don't like the rate of fire, don't think I'll be carrying it with me. For "single shots" you can take a sniper with 15 rounds.
@@ohyeah2816 yeah it blows it won’t take it but the devs already stated that it’s a bug and it’s max size is 4x you can even equip an emobilizer onto it
A test that I would like to see is how effective the shield on the X1 Force is. Since it is the only hover bike with a shield I was wondering which weapons would penetrate the shields and how much protection does the shield actually give? If you are big on tests you may need a second person sitting in the X1 Force in order to tell when damage is starting to be taken. Anyway I would love to see it
@@johnwilliams4198 not really big on test! I’m just a new content creator and am making videos on everything. Just the P8 is good material. But I’ve actually done this with friends before I started content creating. The shield is really weak. All ballistics goes right through it. Lasers takes like a free seconds longer. But you’ll end up dying from running over a rock before a bullet drops you. Maybe I’ll make a reel about it after citizen con!
@@FriedChickin thanks for the input on the X1 Force. It’s been one of those questions in the back of my mind. I can’t play as often as I’d like due to irl responsibilities so things like this end up staying unresolved.
I think it should have a 20 round mag. Not for balance reasons, 15 just feels wrong lol. I know there are some rifles IRL that have 15 round mags but for some reason it just feels like an awkward number.
Nice. Yeah Normally I'm bringing demeco lmg with the S71 and 4x scope as backup. Its great for mid and long range engagements especially in eva. The p6 is a great option as well, its great for popping open airlocks. P8 seems like a good middle ground between the two cant wait to test it out in live.
@@edgelordcutting I almost always rock a karna and an arrowhead sniper/A03. I tend to keep an eye on my weight so I don’t become encumbered. The P8 will definitely become a daily for me
I love that all vehicles in SC have that Mercedes bounce mode option. 2:00 probably the least used vehicle in SC. Does anyone use these things for anything but "what fits" videos?
Thanks for the comparrison. I often run with P4-ARs when I can't get my favourite, the S71. I love the Gemini line, so it and the A03 are my main weapons, but it's nice to have variety in the 'verse.

i do a lot of piracy, some tests i would like to see are damage drop off at range, in Eva and how effective each weapon is for boarding actions opening the back of a c2 for example.
@@edgelordcutting that is a very good idea. I know I can do a video on how many shots it takes to open a ship back door. If you have a particular 3 ships in mind let me know! And I can do some far range shots with the P8 since there is a bug that allows me to attach a 8x. But I don’t know if I can do the EVA testing against npcs.
Yes! With most weapons, if you want to be effective against anything more than a few yards away, you need energy weapons. Even inside bunkers you can notice that damage drop-off. Maybe that huge kick comes with decent range.
@@aso6437 the devs said the ammo for the P8 is 7.62. On a spectrum post🤷🏾♂️ hard to really tell tbh Edit: it was on the same thread that debunked the 8X scope and immobilizer
Thanks for the video! This gun definitely has DMR vibes but seems to handle well close in. I'd like to run it along with a P8-SC for even closer in stuff.
The 8x optics are a bug they actually said that in a comment on spectrum. You also am currently equip the Emod stabilizer currently and other this which is also a bug.

You get two of them in this pack. You can afford to lose one. Personally, I've been a lot more willing to lose unique equipment as of late. I don't play a whole lot, so there tends to be a timely reset before said items are missed. Eventually, CIG will need to provide an amicable solution, but that's likely a low priority.
@@danielwilke7574 probably just easier to have the same model for both, or a dev just forgot to remove the "auto" painted on it . Sadly devs, even the ones who creates guns in games have little to none experience with actual guns

The P8-AR reminds me of the old UK SLR with it semi auto and black furniture, just needs a bayonet fitting. The SLR would shoot through a brick wall due to the round. Only problem with it just now is the magazine loads empty on odd occasions.
thanks for the vid, haven't used the P8 yet. I like the S71 but disappointed that it doesn't have to scope on it, or at least the ones I come across don't.

Fitting a Nursa into the back of an ES makes sense, but why would anyone want to fit one into the CL? It'd monopolize the cargo grid and at that point you might as well fly around a Cutty Red.
Great video! I bought 3 of the CitCon Goodie bundles for the custom looking container boxes since we still CAN'T label our darn personal containers or buy them in different colors. When you're like me and you like to organize your personal inventories, you tend to amass a lot of containers. The P8-ARs were bonuses for me. I tried shooting the thing over my S71(which I have loved since it was introduced) and the recoil is insane. You better hit the target with that first shot because the follow up shot will be over the target's head. And the P8-AR's magazine is so small. Nah, I'll stick with my tried-and-true Gemini S71.
@@Bronwyn031 I bought 2 packs! But I’m fine with the P8 having 15 rounds. Anything more would make it a god tier gun, also CIG did update the 1scu personal crates. They got logos and text saying “self storage”
