Hi! I'm one of the top players in Hearthstone Battlegrounds, hitting Rank 1 NA numerous times over many seasons. I stream regularly on twitch and am now starting to post quality uploads on RU-vid!
Casual hardstuck 7k mmr player here. I am not a fan of this meta. It feels like the games are over so quick and you either “high roll” or you’re going 5th. Fun comps with trinkets but still not a fan.
Either you hit the higroll, or you go for hardcore tempo/scam to hit top 4. You need hundreds of games to hit high rank if you start from an average 7k, it's a grinding game if you want to step up in the ranking system. You can also start a new account to bypass you're elo and start again from scratch Have fun, around 7k you can still play for fun, the higher you get, the quicker (and more tempo oriented board) the games are
@@MomoWillBurn I find myself being a lot less flexible with trinkets tbh. I'm forcing more which i know is a terrible strategy. I also feel stabilizing is tougher for me this season. But yes, i do try to play for the fun boards more than "what move is gonna net me more mmr" game.
I theorized about this kind of comp year ago. But it was with the avenge mech-demon. I thought it would be crazy good but almost impossible to pull of. Glad to see some pro pull this of😊
That last fight was a beauty. The Sin'dorei Straight Shot hitting both reborn Macaws ended that fight fortunately quickly. It also highlights something that in my opinion people do too often when playing leapers: they give the leaper reborn.
@@SStrikeFuryEven with macaw first, the grief with reborn happens, as your macaw doesn't spawn mana sabers as it hits either the reborned leaper or the macaw with leaps on it. Even in high MMR somehow they mess up the comp, greeding the starting leaps while not guaranteeing multiple leaps.
@@alexzephyris1455 no if macaw was first it was 50/50 that it coulda attacked first and procc’ed a few leaps (tho unlikely) it’s definitely still sub optimal positioning by them
Today I pulled off an even more busted version of this build with Sneed as the hero. From the very start of the game I stacked all of my hero powers onto the same turn 1 minion and used it's massive spawn death rattle instead of the caretaker's to buff my board in combat. Shit was WILD!
Can someone explain to me why he didn't go demons with Urzel? I guess because it outscales, but he already was in such a good position with Urzel and a buffed shop.
Well, he was already in a decently good position, but getting both Moira and the quillboar who gives +1/+1 on battlecries and deathrattles was going to be way more scaling, especially with already having drakhari and murlocs being in the game. We was just missing gem smuggler/gem generation for a while after he got it set up. With qhat he got, his big units were all over his board, with urzhul, only he really gets that big, unless you get bat, and without bat trinket, you are relying on only one already taunted minion in a game with murlocs where poison units are everywhere. This is just my take as someone who's not nearly as good as Beter, so I could be wrong. It seems like all the best players are never afraid to pivot like this when they have a line to a better set up.
I remember I pulled this off. I got double rylak double sanguine and the chick that double deathrattles and battlecries and I got to almost 90/90 blood gems
@@cbridger7142 Beter cuts his videos because he's not talking and the first rounds would be us staring at the board in silence, while Dog is always active and interactive with the chat
