Women ONLY get chants if they're being overly aggressive assholes. Then they get who's the slapper chant, slapper is kinda like whore basically. Or she'll get embarrassed with the does she take it up the arse chant or get your tits out chant. But they can start the get your tits out chant at a woman they like on their own side. 😂 They don't just fo this in the stadiums. They do it in pubs and even abroad brits come together to chant and watch the football. I was abroad when i was 16 during one of the world cups in famous part place and we were watching the football together for every match in the main outside club square 😂 i was dancing away on table's in a football shirt and union jack bikini having a ball... My dad saw the footage of the match and saw me in too many scenes and went to tell the major club to get his underage daughter off their promo videos I was so pissed. 😂 We go hard for football and I love it. Everyone had their faces painted their flags and all the normal things they'd take to the stadium. 😂 It's awesome being abroad for the world cup. I've been away a few times for it and it's ALWAYS a blast. During the world cup go watch an England match with the England fans. It's as close to being at a game as it gets without being there. But beware if you're a small woman you may very well be getting thrown up in the air if we score. 😂 You'll also come out absolutely DRENCHED in beer 😂 throwing the beers is another staple celebration. If you're game for fun they'll include you if you're just quietly enjoying the match and atmosphere you won't be harassed or anything. But if you are an aggressive drunk kicking off they'll humiliate you and shut your ass down with a few carefully choosen chants. ☠️🤷♀️🤣 If they're chanting at women SHE DID SOMETHING and did it first. I love men and being around them and never have any issues 🤷♀️🤣 because most of the guy's are fathers and husbands and they're actually very chivalrous and they will step in if they see ANY of the guys pushing and making any woman uncomfortable. In the stadiums most of the fans have known each other for most of their lives and they know each others family's. Turns out thousands of men in one place who all knew your mother father and grandparents and even great grandparents are VERY protective and are VERY willing to defend you when needed. I grew up bt Manchester city's ground for a while growing up and i remember the old fighting days. Where every club had a firm of fans that would fight other firms. 😂 I remember them meeting up to fight another culbs firm and me and my little brother were caught in the middle of the two sides, they were basically coming onto a road from each end wirh no other ways out. And they basically war charge at each other. 😂 They both held off and the local fans rushed over picked us up and took us home. They didn't even yell insults at each other nothing till the guys got back confirming we were home and well out of the way. Then we watched out the window 😂 There's no mutual combat allowed anymore and they don't tend to fight unless they're BRUTAL rival's or someone instigated it. If you go to a match i highly recommend reaching out to the home teams fan club and go with then. Meet them at the pub for a pregame and go together to the stadium and then celebrate or commiserate with them at the pub post match. But have a spare shirt if you're going out after because some venues don't let football shirts in during rivalry matches it's very rare now but worth warning Americans about. Same as it's worth warning them that pregame certain venues only allow the one side or the other in. Not both. This avoids trouble and allows both sides to enjoy themselves. Football chant's are the modern day evolution of war chants. Britain 🇬🇧 has had small scale inter rivalries for thousands of years. Football and British sports came from each town putting their strongest men forward to play football and settle scores. So the teams often have nicknames from the industry their town was famous for, like the mad hatters, the saddler's and the hammers. Because that's where the strongest men worked and those were the ones chosen for the local teams and they would compete against rival towns just for the honour of being the best. 😂 It cut down actual violence and towns stopped warring against each other. They took it to the pitch. There's an awesome history to it. And every team has their day. But unfortunately now they're trying to push out the smaller teams. Which is sad because they have the most dedicated supporters. Lifelong generational supporters eho have stuck around no matter HOW bad they get just because they love them like family. I hope you get to enjoy the atmosphere oone day. I recommend booking your trip as the last game if the season is playing so you can enjoy seeing them celebrating a successful season winning the cup. They're the BEST. They're the most fun. Or an England match qualifying for Euros or the world cup. They have the best atmosphere. I hope you also travel outside of London if you come here. Because st this point it's NOTHING like the rest of the country. ☠️🤦♀️🙅♀️🤷♀️🤣 So make sure you visit the REAL Britain 🇬🇧 and it's MUCH cheaper. so your money will go a LOT further. 😂
