The San Antonio /Central Texas group is pretty active on AVS. There are several fantastic theaters in the SA area which would make for a great HT crawl.
I would imagine we can still fallow along with the old DPS videos with the new software so long as we know where to click on the new interface right? The software just got a face lift for the most part. I have the minidsp coming in today and ordered a second Rythmik LV12M yesterday and plan on using your dsp videos to set them up. Ide hate to have to wait for the new videos...
Thank you for this extremely informative review! You mentioned the PB 2000 PRO slams like being hit in the chest with a baseball bat, whilst the PB 1000 PRO is more like being hit in the chest with a baseball. My question is, how much closer to getting hit in the chest with a bat will two PB 1000 PROs get you? Thanks
Hay, I have the RX-A4A. If I set it to straight or pure direct before taking measurements, would that work, or do I still need to go disable everything mentioned? Thanks
Hi, if i want to use external dac i need to choose the unit with the digital output or first i convert the digital signal with my external dac and plugin to the flex rca so the outputs will be also analog?
My denon 4700 explain in the deq menu: deq level offset 0 is for movies. deq level 5, is for audio with a very wide dynamic range. deq level 10, is for music with a wader dynamic range. deq level 15, is for audio mixed at a very high level.
Unfortunately when doing that and re-enabling the subwoofer in the receiver menu after, Audyssey won’t allow you to engage room correction as it detects a system change.
@@HomeTheaterGamer I see. Thank you very much for the reply! I've been loving your videos! About to get a second Rythmik sub with a mini dsp. Can't wait to try it out!!
Having trouble with rats? So did I, took 5 minutes to find both birds and about 3 hours to get a good enough rat. A lot of people say check the saloon, not a single rat there in 3 hours. 2 found in sherrif's after placing predator bait. But one was poor and one got away, aftrr that the game refused to spawn rats. I left the area several times. Sleps several days, still the game didn't spawn a single rat for about 1.5 hour. What finally worked was to kill a stagg (any animal probably works) and place the body in the middle of the burned town. I slept 20 hours and came back to 2 rats eating the stagg. Keep in mind it might seem like no rats are there because they's so small they can hide behind the animal carass. Take a lap and check thoroughly.
Thanks for this video. Very useful. I'm testing the Hammershead Hyperspeed, Inzone Buds, Pulse 3D and Logitech 435 and everybody says my mic doesn't sound crystal clear as yours for example. Any advice? Thanks!
I got the Xbox one edition of hogwarts legacy when I didn’t have a series x but now I do have a series x and I was wondering if I could upgrade the Xbox one edition to a series x digitally
Hi thank you for the tutorial. I just want to ask about subwoofer volume. In my case if I set the volume to 50%, i will never get the sub volume at the same level during test tone. If I raise the volume to match the front DB level, i will end up with too loud bass during watching the movie. Is it necessary to match sub db level to my front?
What i kind of miss in this video is why you think the 80hz crossover was not good and you had to raise it. Is it because the max output at set frequency was not high enough to match the wanted output for a smooth response? For example; you wanted it to be 82dB, but you only got a max output of 78dB, so with the crossover set to 80hz, you were unable to match the desired output, and thus you tried a higher crossover?
Definitely prefer the IMAX Enhanced version just for the fact that it fills more of my TV screen. Having a 75" set, I appreciate the added immersion from more of my screen's real estate being used. It makes a big difference.
you level match your fronts to 75db with avr volume set to -17.db . Normally you will use reference level -0db for that ? do you level match all speakers in AVR levels section, when you have run room correction software ?
Bro how you get a perfect cardinal or woodpecker with varmint actually? Any 3 star perfect one I see it goes down to 2 star after I use varmint, only small game arrows work for me 🤷♂️
You forgot to mention that you should only gray out the black setting if you have an OLED tv as those are the only displays capable of doing perfect blacks.
What do you consider to be small, medium, and large room sizes? My living room is 25 square meters, which is, by my calculation, around 269 square feet.
Idk if someone already mentioned this, but... what if you took the hardware off from the bifold doors and just made accoustic panels and put the hardware off of the old bifold doors onto the accoustic panels.
Great video series; I've been watching the various parts to familiarize myself and plan follow these steps soon. A clarification please, as I couldn't find a clear answer on the miniDSP website or in the product manual online - If I want to connect 4 subwoofers to a Denon X3700H receiver that has 2 subwoofer outs, would it be ideal to use both the analog RCA inputs, then assign the front 2 subs to 1 and the rear 2 to the other via the miniDSP software, or connect just 1 subwoofer input from the AVR, and then assign all the 4 subwoofers to it?
Great choice in case. I swapped out my Fractal Design Node 605 for a GD-11 last year, I was intrigued by the cases cooling capabilities as the Node 605 left much to be desired in that regard.. I had to get it from Amazon because it was still very new, and no retailers here in Norway had begun selling it yet. It was quite expensive, but well worth it imo. It's currently filled with an Asus z690-g m-ATX motherboard and an AVX512 enabled (for PS3 emulation purposes) 12900k running 5.3GHz and 32GB 6400c32 DDR5 ram, the GPU is an RTX 3090. And all is watercooled with a custom loop comprised of two 240mm radiators with Phanteks T30 fans, an Aquacomputer Ultitube 50 D5 reservoir and pump, CPU is direct die cooled with an Iceman DD block and the RTX 3090 has an EK waterblock and active backplate. Just yesterday I upgraded the PSU to an FSP Hydro Ti 1000w to get something more efficient than the old Fractal Design 650w bronze unit. I think it's the most powerful unit possible to fit with my space constraints without going SFX with an adapter etc.
Brad, that desktop case looks great in the cabinet! I didn't know that there is a case like that. Really makes your system look high-end. You're a talented guy. Keep up your great efforts. All the best to you and Trish!
Hi, I have quantasylum qa403 audio analyzer. It has a built-in software function, bottom toolbar, that lets you know if the USB connection is good. I just set up the device in a balanced loop back configuration. Set software to measure THD+noise at high sample rate and FFT then run sweep to verify all my USB cables are good.
3:23 Seems like your camera's going crazy. It's like parts of the screen is flickering. For me, I'm going to go for the Silverstone RM52 Rack Mount case. It's very pricey but hey! I want to fit in a full-tower CPU for the best heat dissipation and can look really sleek while hiding that PC case hidden away in a 35U or 37U enclosure. And yeah that case is going to have rails installed. I just don't really care for all the RGB looks and tempered glass side panels. I'm a "hide your computer away if it's working" kind of guy. The only parts that are in front of me is my LG C2 42" TV, keyboard, and mouse.
Yeah that’s the autofocus trying to figure out what to focus on causing the flicker. Recording a TV screen is always a challenge for any camera’s auto focus system due to the pixel structure and proximity. Probably should have went for single point focus on the DJI OSMO Pocket 3. I don’t have a rack and I don’t know if I’ll go that route anytime soon. Other things are of a higher priority now, namely a mini split haha.
What should I choose for CS2 >>>> 1080p 27 inch AOC 144hz , or ViewSonic 27 inch 1080p 165 hz , or after watching this video should I go to 24 inch 1080p or it doesn't really matter if I play E-sport games and want to do a headshots in long distances ?
