to simplify it, the probabilities in the game are not exactly random, but chosen by a number that generates randomly each frame and the secuence of these numbers is always the same when you restart the game. That's why he quit and loaded before fighting rayquaza and had a sound timer to know exactly the frame he had to enter the battle and throw the pokeball
this is so sick! gen 3 is my favorite and your speedruns are the first pokemon speedruns i watched. will start following you on twitch too. can't wait for more breakthroughs on red/blue:)
ill never forget many years back i was in chat with you and gunnermaniac said something about you not being a world record contender and i was the only person in the chat that said you shouldnt say that gunner you should try to encourage him, gunner than said im not being mean its a just a realistic thing and he started listing off people that were capable of world record i said i think you are wrong people who want world record will get them. here it is a couple years later and you have a couple world records and going for more and gunner just got his first since that time he was talking to you like that. in no way is this a slight on gunner i love him this is more a story of if you are passionate, put your mind to it and put in the work you can do whatever it is you want congrats man and keep grinding
I love the routing planning of these, especially the small optinizations like saving super effective text and evolving Eevee to Flareon because it has the shortest cry.
Hello, I just watched your video and I am fascinated with your content. I would really love to dub this video for those interested in Speedrunning in Spanish if you wouldn't mind. It's very well explained, easy to understand, and I think it's simply magnificent. If your answer is yes, I would like to get in touch with you. Spanish is my mother tongue but I am able to communicate fluently in English, that's why I would like to share your content with the Spanish-speaking community.
that is the cumulative number of pokemon caught at the end of each split in his PB run and WR run so Brock [4 | 3] would be 4 pokemon caught at the end of Brock from PB run, and 3 pokemon caught at the end of the Brock from WR run
how does that abra manip work. can you do that trick stand alone or do you have to do all the tricks before that to make it work. i am asking this because i want to maybe use this trick in my nuzlock runs to garantee me an abra.
Hey man, how do you practice? Since the mudkip is manipped and you do the same fights everytime, do you just load savestates to practice secitons and such?! I want to learn this but i refuse to learn the whole game through each time I want to learn the last split etc.
So it's a glitchless speedrun of Pokemon Firered to the true ending of the game. So that includes beating the elite 4 with upgraded levels after you finished the Sevii Islands and get the Ruby and Sapphire to be able to trade with normal Gen 3 games
