feels nice to finally find out what the game over screen looks like for this game now if only there was a playthrough that shows what happens if time runs out during the final boss battle
2:18 Princess Flora heart:uh oh! The fairies have been turned into the teenipings! 2:56 Me:what's- [coughs] happening! The hamony land is [cough] being taken over by some strange dark witch!! Me:princess Flora heart! where are ya!
There is a way to get a different game over in lvl 12 Set Up. The objective of stealing 50 items from stores, the cops will put a store on lockdown after you rob it, whether you stole every item or not. Once every store is officially on lockdown and you don’t hit the 50 item quota, the game over screen triggers. The description will say: “All stores are now on lockdown. No more loot.”
@@AshleyFreind002 I only ever saw it once. Me and my stepbrother played the heck out of The Warriors back in the day. We were doing a co-op run and we always hated the cops cause one of us would always get arrested and the other would always get wrecked or arrested trying to save one another. So every time as soon as the blue dot showed up on the minimap we hauled ass outta the store whether we cleaned it out or nah. So we decided “F it” and went after the car radios, out of nowhere game over popped up. We were confused as heck til we realized what it meant
Oh, so it's one of those games where the Game Over quotes change depending on who you lost to, or if you failed to do a certain objective. Batman: Arkham Asylum, anyone? Still, this is a very nice attention to detail.
@@TheWolfBunny64 Very much so. I love when games do this. I did another compilation video on another game not too long ago that did the same thing called The Warriors - one of Rockstar's hidden gems. There's enough game over screens for 20 minutes and I'm in the process of updating it soon.
I tried the sleeping bag method with Jason, but it only worked one-third of the time. Ultimately, I found the easiest way was to use their strong agressive attack to my advamtage and stand on the edge of the cliffs and teleport with Jason as they come at you. You guys were right. I only had to beat 3 Shaggys and then they stopped coming. This was for Insanity Mode.
This doesn't work the same after the newest patch. Bugs's rocket now disappears after the first hit. I ended up beating it with Wonder Woman. But I think it could be done with anyone honestly. There are three shaggys in total that will show up. The best way I found, was lowering the computer to about 90, then just worry about battling the first Shaggy without lowering the computer low enough that it sends out the second shaggy.. thats the trick, fight them one at a time. You can bait each shaggy into either left or right edge of the map really easy. They even knock themselves out sometimes. But after you knock one of the Shaggy's out or they knock themselves out. Run over, lower the computer as far down as you can until the next one comes out and repeat the process. I think after I defeated the 3rd Shaggy there was about a minute and a half left on the timer, and the computer was at about 30%.. a fourth Shaggy did not come out. Beat it twice with this method to confirm.
I'd pin this if I could. Thanks for explaining an alternative. Sucks that it was patched out, seems like a lot of people are actually going through the rifts now.
I found a good method as well. Just fly to the right of the stage with black adam and go close to the blast zone and the shaggies will suicide. You do this to all 3 of them and then you can finish easily.
Still works even on Insanity difficulty. Ai ain't that much smarter Edit: Since the latest patch, the ai is a little less dumb, but this is still a valid strat.
It's impossible to die in that mission. The hobos deal miniscule damage and your health gets capped as soon as it gets low enough. Getting beaten up by the Warriors also continues the mission, since your health can't get low enough for you to die.
