watching you catch these as I caught some of those yesterday at the same lake. Nice video! if you were there on Tuesday 10-15 you probably captured me and my dad traveling to and from the inlet!
Do u know if we can use the minnow traps at lake perris? And Have you tried carp as cut bait before? I heard it's good stuff for the flatheads when it's fresh.
@KingFitAngler ok nice ima buy a trap and try it out on some crappie.. I been trying to find a way to catch big flats ever sense I pulled a 5lb flathead, but they make it hard on us Cali anglers.

Best way to use chicken Liver, don’t. Use cut up chicken breast raw or marinated in soy sauce and garlic powder. Less hassle to keep on a hook and just as effective and livers.
Yep, i still live in the area. the lake is at level Caution with the algae warrant the posting of a “Caution” advisory. People are advised to avoid scum, to not drink lake water, and to continue to keep pets out of the water. as of July 8th. So don't let grandson play in the water. this is a problem at most lakes in SoCal during the hot summer months.
@@KingFitAngler my home lake is Puddingstone in San Dimas. It has been in excellent shape so far. I have heard a lot of bad things about the condition of L.E. do they ever try to Blue Stone(copper sulphate) it? What shore or area would you recommend? Looking to put him on Cats or Carp.
@@C.Rig21 i don't think they have ever tried the copper solution in the lake. they used algaecide. I fish the Levee. Safer parking and area. Not a far walk from the parking lot to the water. the public beaches you get some people on hard times walking around.
@@KingFitAngler hey buddy I wanted to ask you where you park. I see what I think is the levee area by lake point park, the baseball diamond and summerly community park. I'm thinking I would park at lake point park? Unless I'm totally off on the area. I've never been to that lake so I don't want to end up on private property and get ticketed or towed. trout season is over. no more trout stocking until late fall. Skinner stocks catfish monthly during this time of year. first catfish stock was May 24th
