I never hated Hayden Christensen as Anakin. It was George Lucas's unfiltered script and unfocused direction that makes me frustrated about the character. However, his comeback in the _Obi-Wan_ miniseries and the _Ahsoka_ series goes to show that, with a director who actually knows how to direct actors, Hayden could've given the character a lot more conviction in the prequels.
