I am Tracey Campbell, an artist, creator and designer. I called my channel Art Fiber Stitch, so that it covers most of what I do. Art can be painting, mixed media, photography, mosaics, sculpture etc. Fiber covers my textile artwork and needle felting, eco printing and making things with fabulous yarns. Stitch covers sewing and embroidery, slow stitching, and other needle arts. I have had trouble compartmentalizing myself in the past, so I shall not try. What I believe is that we can all find the artist within ourselves which allows us to put the art into whichever craft we wish, it just takes knowing a few skills. My instructional videos aim to inspire you to try something new. Mindfulness is being present in the moment, being absorbed in a creative endeavour certainly allows that. The main thing is that you have a go, don't judge yourself harshly, revel in mistakes, they inspire creativity, lose yourself in a creative pursuit, it is good for the soul. Find the artist within!
Hi. didn’t know what you meant by fabric buttons, but here is a link to the full video part 1. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-duRnvkeVGjk.html
I sure do like the changes you made. I agree it was too much crochet and adding the bits of other gives more definition and interest. Yes I'm inspired 😊
Очень люблю такую творческую работу.Я использую для нее очень бюджетный вариант- сухой клей для виниловых обоев- развожу водой небольшое количество .Может храниться закрытым в холодильнике.Идею взяла на канале *Артквилты Елены*
Both! Glass does keep it clean, but it depends on where it is in the house, does it reflect the light so you can’t see it. You can also get special glass that does not reflect, or Perspex.
Thank you so much for sharing this! That latch hook canvas and all my quilting scraps has my mind overflowing with ideas for rugs and smaller things. Weaving small fabric scraps into the canvas with other fibers could be so much fun and create some unusual art. Thanks again!
that gives me an idea as I had a large canvas for a rug hook and cut out a rectangle for bookbinding I didn't ever finish that project but maybe with the addition of crochet scraps will be awesome thank you!
Sorry about your surgery. That left hand has been quite troublesome this year. Hopefully you recovery quickly. I've got a Guild meeting in town this evening so I'm heading to the craft store. I've got plenty of Auda cloth & a HUGE piece if green hessian, so I'll be looking for some canvas. Take care Tracey!
Ma ha ha I just put together a bag of yarn that was on its way to a new home! It’s hard not to horde! Now I’m going to to pull out one of those knobby yarns because this video gave me an idea of a use for it!😂🥰
@@artfiberstitch I think when I have more than I can use my life time I’ve crossed the line into horderville. It’s just hard to decern what I will use and what is less likely. 😂
Love your creativity! I would be interested in anything you feel like sharing… sending blessings to you for speedy recovery of your hand/wrist. Thank you!
It might be useful to audition your yarns against the background and change them around until you like them the best and then take a picture of the layout before you start. Much easier to make any adjustments before you stitch than after. I’m glad you responded to my previous comment so I was able to see this piece again so I could figure out what I bought that roll of burlap for.
Thank you for sharing all your creative ideas. It inspires me to dive into my stash and come up with some new ideas to use it up. I hope your hand heals quickly and well.
@@artfiberstitch hi, yes, I love the look of distressed fabrics and would really be interested in a ‘tutorial’ of a variety of fabrics being altered/distressed. You are so creative and your videos are such a joy to watch 😊 xx Lindy
