My next build. I’m considering the 2000.8 GaN so I can power my 3 way fronts all active as well as my rear fills from one amp and an EVOX 8000.1 for the 2 high powered subs in a sealed enclosure.
If I picked up one of the 2000.8's I could run 2x 3/4" tweeters, 2x 4 "mids, and 2x 4" coaxials, and still have power/channels leftover to run a sub? Or would I be better off sending signal to a dedicated amp (I've got an MRV-1507 collecting dust ATM) Also this would function as an active crossover to protect the mids/tweeters if setup properly? Tbh this seems like a high enough quality product that it might be wasted on me but it checks a ton of boxes and would save me the hassle of connecting multiple devices to do the same thing.
My ass Brazil lmao I can see a chinamen from the front back left or right you ain’t fooling me 😂 our lives are owned and produced by china at this point. Everyone got to stop this bullshit nothing is no longer made in the said country they claim to be!! This goes for 99% of the car audio world 😂
(FYI to ALL), I recently purchased a Tury Fast Max for my 2014 Harley Davidson Ultra Classic (stock). Everything loads fine but after driving the bike a few miles and then stopping, the bike goes into factory limp mode throwing the following codes: P1510 - THROTTLE ACTUATOR CODE, P1512 - FORCED IDLE MODE, P2122 - ACCELERATOR POSITION SENSOR, P2127 - TWIST GRIP SENSOR 2, U0156 - LOST COMMUNICATION WITH SPEEDO. When I contacted Tury Fast, I was advised that it may be because I was using an android phone and they recommended that I try an apple phone. I tried an apple phone and the same thing occurred, with the same codes. “NOTE", a friend of mine recently purchased a 2023 Roadglide (stock), and he also had the same issues. It should also be noted that both my and his Tury Fast were purchased throw the same Shop just a couple of days apart, so it’s unknown if maybe they were both part of a bad batch. (I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED ON THIS $300 DOLLAR ITEM, THAT THEY WON’T REFUND MY MONEY ON).
What improvements did you make to electrical to support the audio? my Gladiator is a mere 1300 watts presently, and I'm looking to improve but want to grasp the big picture of upgrades. Also, how much power are the subs seeing? Have you figured out how to stop the sliding window to stop rattling?
Almost convinced they don’t want to sell any as difficult as it is to dive into the website forever then go to dealer pages to see it’s only open one day per week. Does anyone know a ballpark range on the system before installation?
I’ll have a video coming out soon. I talked to them at SEMA about optimizing their direct to consumer sales. I do agree with your assessment currently (late 2023). I just installed this on my 2022 Hellcat Redeye.
The 8 channel is the one I have my eye on. But as someone who owed the first GAN amp sounddigital produced and current own about the best Class A and Class AB SQ amps money can buy, I would have loved to see a powerful 4 channel with no board crossover network. I Love selector feature, But even a specialty model of the 8 channel with no internal processing, as most SQ guys and gals that is moving to this level of product will 95% of the time will be uaing a high-end DSP. Now if the internal crossover network can be completely bypass, Now if that is the case on these units that is outstanding. But really look forward to trying these new units out. Great job. I also use a Sounddigital unit in my system now also.😮❤
@@HKIUSA Thank you for the prompt reply. I would to thank to you more about the new GAN unit. Is there a number or email I can contact directly at Jacob?
The new lock feature. Does it lock automatically when the ignition is off, and unlocks when it senses the presence of the phone or a fob? or does it lock when the phone is not in range as well? You mention cycle, do not know what that means....
@@HKIUSA that. Is dangerous, as the Bluetooth signal could be lost while driving or if phone is shut off. It should be locked when it loses power only when car is turned off.. Unlocking on phone presence is ok but not locking. Please verify...
@@charlestimmis273 Sorry, I was not 100% clear. I will edit my response. For ir to lock, the car has to be off. It looks for the phone/magic key on the ignition cycle.
@@HKIUSA thanks for the clarification. Where can I buy this online and install it myself.. I don't want anyone installing it for me.... I checked your site you don't sell them online why?
At 2:10 what do you mean the crossovers are meant for a "quasi active" setup? What you say right after, does that mean that I should run these without bridging my 4 channel amp to 2 more powerful 4 ohm channels? If yes, can you explain why? Thanks.
What this is referencing is that when using the 2-Way passive in a 3-Way application, the midrange and tweeter would be run through the passive network on 2 channels of an amplifier, and the midbass drivers would be active on 2 different channels of an amplifier.
@@JacobBrownGZUSA Ah yes got it, thanks for the clarification. I recently picked up a used Audison SR 5.600 that is rated at 4 x 75W 4ohms + sub OR when bridged 2x 230W 4ohms + sub. I have my eyes on this particular Uranium two way setup and I'm wondering if it's wiser to use the 2 channel bridged mode for more power with the GZ passive crossovers or use the 4 x 75W fully active setup for tweeters and woofers? Which one do you think is the better option? A third option would be to pickup a separate 2ch amp just for the tweeters and then run the 2 x 230W from the Audison to the GZ Uranium woofers but I think this might be a bit overkill.
@@sampsalol it all depends on how in depth you want to get with the install and tuning? If you're rocking a DSP in the install, I'd recommend full active, but it truly depends on what you're trying to accomplish.
@@JacobBrownGZUSA Hehe, it's a rabbit hole with how deep you can go, isn't it.. Although I'm tempted with getting a DSP and the whole works, I'm gonna try to get by with just the 2-way uranium + Audison amp, aftermarket head unit + a small single 8" sub (maybe the GZUW 8SQ-D2) paired with the Audison sub channel. I'm building a house at the same time so can't go "all out" on this audio build. So I suppose with this in mind the bridging to 2ch + GZ crossovers would be the wiser choice?
@@sampsalol It is a Rabbit Hole indeed. I think your plan with going two way passive, bridged on your amp with a small sub would be a great first step, and you can always build from there.
