Is there any way to make this work with #10 envelopes, as A: I already have a couple boxes that I got for a good price at the Goodwill Outlet, and B: to save money, I use bulk lots of vintage stamps, as they are often sold below FV, so I need more space to adhere them to.
You have to be logged in to see them. It works for me on both chrome and the app. Perhaps you just have an issue with your account or something and might need to reach out to them via email, not sure. Unless you use a different browser and it has an issue with those
I'm curious if you watched the video? He's literally saying to not take the apps values (typically on the low side of market) as gospel and to use the most recent actionable data when buying or selling. If he wanted to drive down prices, wouldn't he endorse the app values instead of pointing out the flaws and outliers?
He also literally makes an offer of $500 more than the Alt value for people willing to sell... Idk how much more transparent this gets that the video is conveying ideas completely opposite to your assertion.
If you wanna time stamp me some spots I'd be interested to see where you are getting that. Nobody ever has to sell to me I make it very transparent what I am offering and why in my deals
Could it be the insane buyers premium that fanatics has? The prices seem decent but the fees and taxes are literally insane and could conflict with eBay sales.
I'm not a fan of buyers premium but people factor that in to their bids. The reported number that alt shows from fanatics is the all in price with buyers premium. If people are paying sales taxes they're paying them on ebay too. Alt actually doesn't charge sales tax for purchases sent to the vault. Ebay has the psa vault now as well to avoid sales tax
If you're interested in learning you could probably get into programming for web scraping fairly easily. There's a good AI-assisted code editor called Cursor that you could have walk you through the entire process.
Hey, can you explain where you can see the ALT-value on their website. If I type Umbreon Vmax, there are only some offers which I can view and the recent transactions, but i cannot find the graph nor the value. Thanks in advance!
I really don't like Toploaders, my go to is always thin cardboard/thin plastic loaders. Every since 1 time I was returning some cards and the USPS machine destroyed the sellers cards. It was commons so I don't think he was too mad but I was shocked.
My favourite is getting a low feedback user asking me to lower my price (CDN seller) to match what “market is”. Normally I’m respectful, but the odd time Ill say “if market was XYZ” you wouldn’t be wasting your time messaging me to lower my price, you would have just bought it already”. Last sold is just that, if Walmart had a sale last week you wouldn’t go in this week and expect the same price. IMO the best metric is lowest buy it now including shipping. Ie. “if” you want to buy the item today, what is the lowest possible cost. Most US sellers have $20+ eBay global shipping baked in too for CDN buyers so I also factor that into my prices which are always slightly higher than USD listed.
Yeah I didn't talk about it a ton here but the most relevant data points are last sold but then also low list. If there are any. Obv for the pop 10k modern stuff there always will be in the short to mid term (maybe forever) but the sub 100 pop stuff there's relatively often no listings
If you were at an event and had a 1st edition holo PSA 9 dragonite would you price it at $500 since the last 5 sold average to that number or you price it higher? Lowest listed now is $700 Is it better to list cards like that on eBay and wait?
Depends how much I actually want to sell it. If I want to sell it yeah I'd go closer to last sold. Cash is king. If I wanted to try and earn a premium maybe I'd go 600 right in between last sold and low list
I might post a story on IG monthly or so updating. Weekly feels like a lot. If people ask in comments /live chats/discords I'll give updates whenever though!
the only people who complain about scalpers are the ones who cant afford to be scalpers them selves, and if they could afford it, they would do it. sooooooooo....ahh well.
My thought process on if you keep 1,000 Moonbreons until 2030: In the time between now then there will be a more limited supply on the market which will create some scarcity on eBay and a slight decrease in competition for sellers to list them for higher prices. Then when it comes time for you to sell in 2030 the market will be impacted by the flood, but the base price would be slightly higher than it would have been if those thousand were continuously in and out of collectors hands over the journey. Sealed product is similar aside from its finite supply once out of print.
The arbitrage/scalping drama was absurd to me. People who can pay to go to Worlds, went there to spend a bunch of money, and happily paid x amount for the items they bought from the resellers...... I don't see all them complaining. Know why? Because they VALUE it. Some of them probably immediately listed them for twice what they paid.
its rare to have the Puka scenario play out every year. Getting stronger WRs is better unless you get top 5 rb. Although Top 4 wrs (Chase, Jefferson, Amon Ra, CD) are must grabs. I think you are gonna make playoffs. Having Etienne and Chase helps ALOT.
Think the problem is that "resellers" add zero value for the end consumer, Also your point on "if they reprint everything pokemon would be dead" Yugioh would like to have a word with you. You can do whatever you want but you don't need to try and justify what the pokemon market has been doing for the last few years is doing is for the best for consumers. I think it's not and pokemon survived for the last 20 years with a very low stable tcg and vg market, and after pokemon go they were still attainable even if they were high. Now everything pokemon after covid can be scalped and many things are out of reach, it is what it is and you gotta work around the market but its not needed for a healthy franchise.
If you're talking pokemon center merch sure resellers are unnecessary people in the middle (except for location and time specific merch like worlds merch it's needed) but if you're talking graded cards, raw singles etc resellers are the whole market theres no primary market for that

Did you not get the memo. Ita all about "equity" now. We got to all end up with the same ammount of Quaxleys. You want to know how many people are psychotic morons. Wait for the election.
Do I think poke Chloe is scalping , no. Do I care that people make money reselling stuff no. My gripe as someone who lives in Hawaii and that went to Pokémon center twice was that Pokémon handled the Pokémon center logistics very poorly. You had thousands of fans waiting in line for hours. Some days were super hot and they had people waiting in a parking garage about to pass out from heat only to find there were no exclusives left. Heck even most of the regular stuff was gone 😂 So they had everyone pick time slots and there were limits to buy one per customer they just didn’t follow their rules. They knew how many reservations there were so demand should have been known. They could have easily brought out exclusives slowly at different times during the day to give everyone a chance. From what I saw from people who went on Wednesday only influencers, competitors and such were able to shop and the employees didn’t enforce the limit of 1. People who got early timeslots had the best chance at exclusives. To me it just feels bad to wait in line for hours and you didn’t even have a chance. PC should have just posted a sign outside sold out. I bought from the resellers outside because most were competitors. And they had way better variety of merch than Pokémon center. Lastly Hawaii is supposed to be different. We are the Aloha state. Locals reselling to their neighbors at 4X - 10X is ridiculous. It’s a expensive to live here and we price gouging each other. That is not Aloha. I do find it funny though when looking at FB marketplace resellers struggling to sell non-exclusives for 3X the price because they didn’t know the difference. Like regular bear walker skateboards that are available on PC website. Greed doesn’t always win. Aloha my bradda been watching your vids for awhile. I appreciate your content.
