Message from Chris (Petra's Husband) I live in NZ and have followed the ALHA for some years now. On a recent visit to Australia 3 years ago i purchased a full A.L.H uniform with all the gear, i got to wear it at one NZ Anzac day before the lock downs but am hoping to wear it again soon. For me personally I feel a sense of pride when i wear it and my personal mount was fully kitted but i still need some extra bits. I enjoyed this video and it was an emotional experience watching it. Well done everyone......wish I could have been part of it.
I went and saw The lighthorse exhibition at Warrnambool where I vas pre-school and prep.Up the road from us there was a farmer who served in the lighthorse he died in '72 aged 80.He was kind to us.I'm 65....I sometimes choke up thinking and talking about those magnificent WALERS!!!!!!!!!!!
