Evergreen is working to create cities that are livable, green and prosperous.
For over 30 years, we’ve been facilitating change in communities through connection, innovation and sustainable actions. We work with community builders across sectors to solve some of the most pressing issues cities face: climate change, housing affordability, and access to nature and public spaces.
Our approach is to bring together different people and lead with a mindset focused on solutions so we can test and scale the ideas needed in cities. We believe that no one actor can solve these challenges alone. We convene and engage to revitalize and transform spaces into great places that are inclusive to all people and sustainable at their core.
Through our work at Evergreen Brick Works in Toronto, our collaborative initiative Future Cities Canada, and programs across the country, we’re working to make our communities flourish.
The reason the luxury condo development didn’t go ahead was not mainly because it was on a floodplain. The developer’s engineers had a proposal on how they were to deal with the floodplain issue. You need to get your facts straight.
This is great. I love any chance to learn good advice to give customers at the plant nursery I work at. Been having trouble figuring out how to water my young plants little terracotta pots though 😞 Great video though, super good info
Wow, this is such an advertisement. The "customer" does not live in that "apartment/condo/airBNB property". It was so empty you could hear the echo, that fridge was so bright inside you could tell it was empty. This lady is not a regular customer, she is a social psychologist. I am all for urban agriculture and trying to make this world a better place, but this just screams "marketing" and "money". It makes it hard to believe anything they said throughout the video.
I see that your channel is precious. I would love to repost your whole channel, without changing anything, on the nice platform named Ganjing World. If you agree with that, please let me know. Thanks!
Great video! I would probably have to place a stick in the hole to check the water level in the tc pot...Jamaica (on the plains) has weeks at a time of drought and is extremely hot with 0% humidity.
I recommend Dr. Odion herbal remedies here for the benefit of those suffering from STDs and other diseases. I was cured of Herpes zoster with the help of Dr. Odion herbal remedies on RU-vid 🌿
i never see anyone doing aquaponics with very small fish. Very small fish don't require a huge tank. They can also be eaten whole. Isn't there any freshwater, edible, small fish we can raise?
It seems to me (as someone who wasn't involved, but has been a 'change agent' in the world), this responsiveness to flexibility while holding onto and trusting your vision, this is the cutting edge, the double-bladed sword, where the rubber hits the road. I'm not convinced there's any amount of planning ahead that can avoid this - it's just part of the beautiful (if sometimes stressful, sometimes exhilarating) journey of bringing a dream into reality. Well done, all of you!
I'm new to this idea, so pardon the question. I see plants in that room that are sort of like floating in the water and no clay. how does that work? is that like another step in the system? do you transfer plants to float on the water or are the plants in the clay pellets different from those floating on the water?
Useful as this demonstration is, you want to let a tank of water sit for much, much longer than 24hrs. I let my last tank cycle for nearly a month before adding fish. The pH still spiked on me, so I'm not an expert
I am looking for about your product place leave me a message. When I post this , I am looking for more information on this . I live in the state of Kentucky I'm looking for more information on T filters fish tank and where'd you get the rock the stuff you used
