Paul’s favourite is definitely Rome and I loved venice haha!! However, I think you can do venice in a couple of days whereas there is SO much to do and see in Rome so would highly recommend Rome!!

I went to a warehouse in Silvertown E16 called Thrift factory Kilo sale !! They had a massive selection you could spend a whole day there... They only allow some people to pick and choose as they are really exporting mostly. but They also do events , thrift factory £10 per kilo You need a strong back to go through the clothes as mostly in cages and trollies. But it was worth it as many where Brand new with Tags.

The amount of blue light which comes from digital devices is negligible the main cause of eye strain/tired eyes is because if you look at a PC/phone/TV for long periods of time you tend to blink less which causes the eye to dry out. What most eye professionals recommend is for every 20 minutes looking at a digital screen take a 20 second break and look at something in the distance for 20 seconds which should reduce the amount of eye strain. I personally wouldn't pay extra for a blue light coating on my glasses ( i DO wear transitions which includes blue light blocking as standard HOWEVER I bought them for the anti glare properties not for the blue light blocking feature)

I’m having this surgery too sometime in the coming weeks before I go back to college for my sophomore year. I’m a competitive swimmer so the loss of function in my left hip has been extremely detrimental to my swimming also because it has caused me to HEAVILY favor my right side, shoulder and hip, and now the right side almost hurts more than the left due to overuse. So excited to get this surgery and end this nightmare!! I’m so glad to see that you’re experience with this turned out so well and it gives me so much hope!

One interesting fact about Venice Venice city council is struggling to get a central government law to curb short-term rent in historic centre. Housing prices push residents out of the real estate market in the historic center. The resident population of Venice in the major islands is drastically reducing due to the high cost of housing and living (93,000 residents in 1981 - 50,000 residents in 2022) Young people are the first to move. Another huge problem is that tourist activities are always very developed in Venice but in recent years any other kind of activity is slowly declining as the tourism industry takes up every space. This means a lack of job opportunities outside tourism and so the young people have to move inland for this reason as well.
