I love going to cafes too and trying their coffee, whether that be hot or iced. I love drinking a cappuccino that someone else made for me and that has latte art. It's a shame most cafes nowadays are so damn expensive though, like the one you went to in this video. Like, I often find myself paying 5 euros/dollars for a medium cappuccino, whyyyy? A cafe I go to regular and love has a matcha latte for 7 euros. 😯

I had a similar experience with a Market as well which got me extremely dejected and started doubting if I was good enough to later realize that I just wasn't matching the vibe of that crowd. I am really glad that you shared your experience with us and I really Love your art and I enjoy watching your videos! :)
I found ur socials from VanCaf and its good to hear from a vendors perspective abt the experience! If it gives u any consolation hearing from an atendee pov, I felt like the cramped space and high volume of foot traffic made it feel rude or even disruptive to stop, look, and chat with artists- which I didnt even realize until looking back on it. In the flow of people sometimes all you could do was glance and grab a business card to look up later : (. Hope ur art practice from here on with ur online shop and comics goes better for u!
Aaw, sorry to hear about your less than ideal fest in Vancouver! Ive bought a few things from your online store awhile back, and itd be really neat to meet you in person someday (California person here) ! so i hope you successes in your future fests! thank you for being vulernable with us- as an artist that has vended before, any con or fest out of state is alot;; in costs, in merch to carry, in the volume of people youll see and talk to;; i always get so drained;;
