Hello Andrea, I'm sorry but I am not able to share the sat files that have been created for this as they are a custom designed component. However they have been created based on the parameters in the ABB manual for the IRB 360 robot. I should be able to share a link to the manual if you like.
If I understand correct, then work object allow me to move whole object to different place and robot will be still able to use in on this new place, all without redefining new targets and paths?
Absolutely as long as the targets are still reachable in the new location you can move/rotate/duplicate the work object and all points will stay with it. The only problem I have had when moving things is that you may need to adjust the posture of the robot at one or two points depending on how drastic the move is
@@MechManDan I found the place on Mitsubishi's website where the software can be downloaded, but I need a license code to access the software. Whenever you downloaded it, where did you go to get a license for the software?
hi sir, thank you for the video it's very helpful, but I have a question in my case I have a gripper with two tool points one for charging and the other for discharging in the same gripper so how can I create a tool with two frames ( two TCP) on one tool ??? thank you
Good day Mongia, to make a second TCP you can create a new frame and go through the same steps again, that you used to create the first TCP. I font believe that there is a limit to how many TCP's a tool can have. Just keep in mind that you need a reliable name for each TCP so that you don't mix them up in your program. If you have any more questions please feel free to ask. Dan
Hi, I am not able to see the solidworks files as supported files type in my Robotstudio 2021 student license version. can you help here. how to sort this, as if now for able to import the file I have to convert the files to STL and then import. Help needed here.
Please, stop using custom made files. At least share them... EDIT: Videos from Daniel Barrett that solved my problems: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_dUf4n1MB2s.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-C3-329OYNAw.html
@@MechManDan your videos are really helpfull. As someone who is not very familiar with CAD design, I have a real problem following your videos when you include custom files, like the table and the engine. When I created a table and an engine with simpler geometry, I had a lot of problems placing them in the right place. I had problems understanding how to align coordinate systems of the parts.
I see, I do have some other videos on my channel that I would recomend that you may want to watch that cover how to create solid models for import into robot studio. In those videos I talk about how design a component for import into robot studio.
Good day Anh, you will have to purchase the software from Mitsubishi here is a link. www.mitsubishielectric.com/fa/products/rbt/robot/smerit/rt3/index.html
