does this midi control/modulation trick only apply to sampled libraries? should i just adjust velocity on other generators? and is expression control not the same as velocity?
hey i wonder, in the video the original sounds like it has a lot less bass and more breathing room maybe the chords sound a bit quieter, is this something due to the masteing process afterwards or is it something with it being an imported file and not a project in the works?
Awesome tutorial of sidechaining! I already know how to do it properly but learned a few things. Could imagine doing a tutorial and processing vocals? I sometimes struggle with this…
Even though I was already familiar with this topic, I learned something new when you mentioned using Midi instead of Sync/Audio in Shaperbox, so thanks
Spot on Tips as always...🙌 Would love to see an in-depth look at the sound design of mid basses and leads for melodic bass that you guys use, in the next video...🤞

Man, this vid is a gamechanger! I've been making drops from the top bottom for 1.5 years. Definitely will try this method. Question, how do YOU layer snares and kicks. You don't overlap transients do you?
i've just recently switched to ableton from fl studio i have one question whenever i'm clicking the play or pause button as the play line is moving my arrangement tab is also moving along with it but when i saw your video i'm curious how did you able to stop the arrangement tab motion even when you are playing the song
