Thanks, man! I really appreciate it :) The brand/maker is H Eicker and sons and the model is Heartring. This one was honed by Johan from Shave and Butcher. I just did a refresh on it before using it. Take care!

Pretty shocked at how much water you use honing this razor ! I am by no means a green freak but it’s just not necessary. I’m a plus 20 years veteran barber/shaver. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you :) No, I mostly use it as a finisher and I have a simple routine: Running water, only X-strokes and paying attention to the feedback. I learned this from Dr Matt's videos. Have a great weekend :)

Do you use straight glycerin or do you add some water?

I wet the stone first and then I add glycerin. Maybe like a teaspoon of glycerin.

Nice, I have a Paul Waldmin razor too, it's one of my favorite razors and I have probably 30+ razors, it takes and exceptional edge

My impression is that Paul Waldmins are of great quality. I've had more than one. Great edges, comfortable and easy to hone.

Great shave, I have 2 palmera, one Spanish with 26mm and the other German that was practically NOS marked as 14 but measuring 7/8, both are my favorites
