Hello, hello, Geek DK here. The name's Dean. This channel is about a geek's interests which are a fair amount of things - Computer cases, CPU coolers, occasional manga stuff, painting, et cetera.
I felt the silence thru the screen at start up. I have a silent pc too, with fans however (nuc11 enthoustiast) but can't kill any burglar with mine 😉 Nice machine, low temps, no throttling, not for gaming, top 👌
This case is better now due to wide spread usage of M.2 and SFX PSU. No more SATA and power cables and the smaller PSU leaves more space. In other words, this case aged well.
Maybe slims ones. If you are mounting such a monster, though, you shouldn't install fans down there. Let the GPU draw in air by itself since it'd be touching the bottom almost anyway.
@@syarifairlangga4608 In this video ( ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0123f3h1wVo.html ) , I compare 40X and 40XT briefly. They look the same. They cut a bit of fins in XT to make a room for AM5 mounting.
@@geekdk i want to buy 40-xt for my 12400f is it enough? Is there any performance difference compared to the Intel stock cooler? tbh dont really like 92mm fan, rn im still thinking to buy 40-xt or is-50x v3
12400 is already pretty chill CPU with TDP of about 80w at full load. I don't believe 40-XT will give you an edge. It will be quieter, however. 50X would be certainly better.
WiiU had decent specs for it's time, and had some good games. The problem is it was just a cumbersome concept. The Switch isn't even that much more powerful than WiiU, but it refined the concept and might end up being the best selling console of all time when said and done
funnily enough, i've been considering buying a wii or wii u for ease of access in terms of playing games with guests over, i've ended up settling for a wii thanks to not having to buy a gamecube controller adapter (although both can run gcn natively, albeit with custom firmware in the wii u's case which i'm gonna be doing anyway) and being generally cheaper, though i did have to buy a wii2hdmi adapter for it which closed the price gap a little, anyway, shouldn't take too long for it to arrive in the mail
Would like to see the difference in temps between 40xt and 47xt at 75w, 90w, 105w. As I'm planning on buying one and would like to see which of the is better in terms of performance
47-XT looks slightly bigger and better built. Whether that small difference will translate to having a better performance is unknown. I will probably do a 40XT vs. 47XT video in a few days.
Rather than motherboard, the other components of mini-ITX and MATX are the same for the same prices. In addition, Nvidia also announced a new program for Small Form Factor PC builders that definitely helped the chassis manufacturers for SFF builds. NVIDIA Working With Partners To Create New SFF Gaming PC Ecosystem Powered By “SFF Enthusiast GeForce” GPUs These guidelines provide dimensions and clearances between enthusiast graphics cards and SFF chassis, creating a standard for AIC and chassis manufacturers to help make building SFF Gaming PCs a great experience.
If the price gap between ITX and mITX was not as staggering, I wouldn't have created this video. The price gap is so huge that I felt I needed to create this. It's almost 200 bucks difference where I live.
mATX is the way to go if you don't have the budget for the really small builds in something like a fractal terra. The Jonsplus Z20 is a great case btw. Love it
Wow I was looking for info on the cooler and saw you are using the ryzen 9 7900 which is what I’m going to get. How much more perfect can this video get?
@@FavoniusNavy AIO is just easy to drop and say..rather than Water cooling, then me who has done real custom "water cooling" builds all the time looks and freakin sees a tiny AIO gets cofused..
nice quick build there is so much that this case can do for its size as for the power cord doesn't every pc known to man have a cord hanging out the back it just should have been longer and it would have been more in line with what were used too.
@@Sulprax I've found that this chassis is horrid with airflow, so anything above 65w TDP was simply overheating when pushed. The last setup I used was Ryzen 4600G. Currently, it's sitting in my storage.
great vids! very simple and relaxing. Have you tried installing 92mm slim fan on the side of PSU with some wires? either as intake or as exhaust, which is better for your build?
Not so often. I had a 240mm AIO, 3 fans, mb, and PSU assembled in it when I weighed it in the airport. It weighed 11kg. It's not a light weight for an SFF or EDC gadget.
I am new to the hobby and haven’t made a kit yet but I’ve been trying to do research. Can I ask why you didn’t prime the pieces before painting them? I see lots of videos saying to do that
I’m trying to decide between this case and the deepcool ch160, this might be the one tho only being 4 liters more and having so much more capability than the deep cool case, plus better cooling especially since I’m gonna be using a i5 13600k so I can water cool
