I was last year in Odessa. A interesting place with a lot of history and nice beaches. The city however it's falling apart. Many buildings need maintenance. It's dangerous to walk on the side walk, some pieces of buildings cement fall on people's heads. Also be careful with restaurants over charging you, if they know you are a tourist. I am from Miami Beach. If you're s tourist, a hair cut in a nice hair salon in Odessa, will be more expensive than the same hair cut in Miami Beach. Also be aware of the crime in the city. I traveled to many cities, and I can say that I liked Minsk much more than Odessa.
