Hello, Every body! An important observation on Microstrategy 's price coefficient to BTC prices. MSTR used to trade on a coefficient of 39.5 to 40.5. ie BTC price/MDTR price Started August 2, market opened and the coefficient is now 43.5, almost a 10% hidden devaluation since yesterday earnings release. It may not be worthwhile holding MSTR at this coefficient. Just as well holding BTC direct. I hope I am not wrong on this

This seems like the worst period. Even the market are now very unpredictable. Started investing recently when the market prices were a bit high, today I am more than 60% down!
Don’t be confuse buying the dip in a bear market, with guaranteed future returns. Just because that company is down 60%+ from ATH does NOT make it a sound long-term investment. Make sure you’re investing in great companies. kudos to Juliana Heidi

any thoughts on late 24 GAAP accounting changes? My understanding is MSTR assets/capital are going to explode when they mark to market but I'm only 75% on this.
The biggest benefit I see is helping MSTR meet the eligibility criteria for S&P 500 inclusion. The accounting rule change doesn't materially change the fundamentals of the business, so I'm less optimistic about some of the wilder takes on it. I think a multiple to NAV blowout is more likely to come from a simultaneous gamma and short squeeze if BTC makes a big move up.
I've had mine about a week now and absolutely love it. Very solid product. It's only my 2nd HW wallet and have never used the Mk.4 so I can't compare it to that. I switched from Tangem to Coldcard Q.
Very good explanations on the convertible debt and BTC per share, haven't seen someone explain it so well, thanks a lot! Also good point about Semler Scientific being the first non-crypto or finance related public company to adopt a BTC treasury. (Metaplanet doesn't really count afaik, it was a zombie hotel chain or something, but it was basically bought by the Bitcoin Magazine or a related company. That was also an interesting revelation, they were apparently simply searching for a zombie pubco to try the BTC treasury strategy on)

Semler, yeah. For a short time, it made waves on X/Twitter for being one of the first public companies to adopt a BTC treasury strategy (after MicroStrategy and Metaplanet). And it's especially nice that they're a real health care business, not some financial or crypto company for whom it might be a natural step. Their stock has also been doing quite well since then. Oh and they have a very successful OG fund manager on the board (Eric Semler), who I think helped initiate the strategy, at least there's a good interview with him about it on RU-vid.

Thanks for this wonderful interview Nik is always insightful and informative. His delivery is impeccable. And I love Unchained. I am a happy customer. However when he started talking about America and some ethereal upcoming greatness or resurgence. I just don't see it. And I am an American. That sadly understands. There is nothing coming to save America and return it to some kind of greatness. Killing, maiming, torturing, impoverishing countries, overthrowing countries, starting wars, around the world. Is there some kind of plan to make this happen? Is there some special person or movement in America that is going to turn this massive misguided ship around? I don't see it. And it isn't going to just happen on its own. Not with our history of suffering and malfeasance around the world. It gives me no pleasure in saying this. But I see only worse to come. Bitcoin is truly the lifeboat. The lifeboat pulling away from this massive sinking ship of fools and victims. You guys look at Bitcoin in a very realistic and analytical way. I hope you will do the same with the world we live in.
