Nice video. But. Without a thermostat, your engine will never warm up. When the engine coolant temperature is below 176° F, the ECM considers the engine to be cold and retards the ignition timing and enriches the fuel. The ECM will stay in closed loop and not go to open loop operation until the engine warms up. Which is NEVER without a thermostat. Any fuel in your oil will not evaporate. The heater won't work. Etc. If that's what you're going for, good luck.
@@onlyunojhuno still got to figure this out, I think I’ll put it through catch can then back into the intake as West Aus regulations don’t allow you to vent to atmosphere or block it off
Hey I know you said your thinking about selling some of the things your making up yourself but I was wondering if you would be willing to help me on a few things I need for my eg hatchback Build?
No I understand that but would like be willing to look for it for me ill send you the money for you to be able to buy it and send it to me please money for your time
Good stuff dude, I understand working to a budget, but I wouldn’t run any of those fittings in my experience they almost always leak/wrap and you have to go out any buy them again but spend double for higher quality, remember the poor man pays twice, it’s better to save some cash and use a better quality part rather than just buy the cheapest part, that’s coming from someone that lived on home brand chicken noodles for nearly 10 years so trust me save a bit and use brand name injectors and fittings and boost control, last thing you want is a failed wastegate sending your pistons to outer space
Yeah I have spent good money on injectors. But yeah I know what you are saying with the untrusted waste gate. I’m still thinking of changing this out, but it’s extremely expensive. Seen a few other people run this wastegate and have no problems. I’ll see how I go
You would be shocked what they look like inside if you cut it open. They might look good from the outside but the casting on the inside is absolutely horrendous!
@damonryn if you know someone who can tig alloy then cut the bottom open and clean the inside up with a die grinder then weld the section back on. Seen a video of a guy comparing one to a skunk manifold and wondered why it flowed so bad so cut it open to see why. The casting was so inconsistent. Dags everywhere. Wasnt to bad after he cleaned it up. He also milled the gasket surface cos it was warped real bad and leaked when he first bolted it on.
yes Bullboost, here is the link, pick the shifter depending on the trans you have. bullboostperformance.com/pages/rapid-search-results?q=shifter&page=4
I haven’t got the car running and driving yet, but for what it is, seems alright. Only thing I worry about is how tight and close the shifting is. As you could miss a gear and blow things up. You could either go for a sloppy factory shifter or a tight short shifter like I did. Also people recommend an acuity shifter but they are more expensive. What gearbox do you have?
If I have time this afternoon, I’ll send you the links, but you can pretty much find these anywhere. EBay do them, jackspania racing does it, and bullboost do them. Bullboost will generally be the cheapest
Quality looks to the same as the S2 ultra street mani I got, ended up porting/polishing it to help remove the access material/casting marks left in the ports
